Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel Confirmed for "Total Recall" RemakeSubmit Comment
THR has confirmed that Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel have been cast as Lori and Melina (the two female leads) in the "Total Recall" remake, which stars Colin Farrell.

In addition, the paper is reporting that Bill Nighy (Pirates of the Caribbean) is in negotiations to play Quatto, the leader of the resistance. Meanwhile Bryan Cranston ("Breaking Bad") will play the villain and Ethan Hawke is on board for a cameo.

The movie ditches the Martian storyline and instead involves nation states Euromerica and New Shanghai. Farrell plays Douglas Quaid, a factory worker in the latter who begins to believe he is a spy although he doesn't know for which side.

"Total Recall" is directed by Len Wiseman (Live Free or Die Hard, Underworld) and will begin filming in June in Toronto.

Bryan Cranston!! Yes he deserves a major role one of the best actors of this generation, lets hope he doesn't tarnish his film career like Michael C Hall in Gamer. He's gonna make Farrell look amateur, I'll be rooting for him from the start regardless of who he rapes/kills/eats.

Please don't remake this, there is no need.

Good cast, just hope it doesn't tarnish the original that much, but as this is staying more true to the story it might work out.

So they've basically hired the two most similar looking actresses working today? Don't get me wrong i'd smash the life out of both of them but some variety would be nice!

Total Recall is being remake, come on Hollywood should stop remaking classics now what's next- ET, The Thing, The Goonies, Grerlims, Terminator series or etc.

Studios should make video game movie adaptions because games like Metal Gear Solid, Halo, Call Of Duty and other video games deserve to be turn into movies.

I hope there'll be catfight scenes of them.

Bikini fight scenes with them 2 and the 3 titted chick. That's the only chance it has to top the original.

I don't care how many hot chicks are in this, they can shove it up their ass. You do not remake Arnold movies....unless you get Arnold to star in the remake.

If Recall was a real place a dirty weekend to Mars with these 2 fine young ladies would be my 1st port of call !!!

I love Totall Recall! But in saying that, I'm not opposed of this remake, I believe Farrell will do a great job. I just hate the idea of the guy who made Die Hard 4 being in control of this.

IT doesnt matter who's in this movie EXCEPT Arnold is still gonna suck.Is gonna have pretty little special effects for the SCIFI geeks and thats all.

WHy is Ethan Hawke considered for a cameo is not like he's an Alister anyway. He's been typecasted as a cop ever since the Training Day movie and makes a film every two years. His role in Brooklyns finest was great do check that movie out though.

I thought the point of the original was that Arnold picked a women completely different from his wife, the exotic Rachel Ticotin, both Kate and jessica look very similar, I wish they wouldn't touch classics.
