Today we have the trailer for "Shark Night 3D," starring Joel David Moore (Avatar), Katharine McPhee (The House Bunny), Dustin Milligan (Slither) and Chris Carmack ("The OC"). Check it out below.

Plot: The story revolves around seven men and women who spend a weekend at a lake house in Louisiana's Gulf area. When their vacation quickly becomes a nightmare of hellish shark attacks, unheard of in freshwater lakes, they soon discover that the sharks are part of a sick, greedy plan on the part of several locals.

The new movie is directed by David R Ellis (Snakes on a Plane, The Final Destination) and is set to hit conventional and 3D theaters on September 2nd.

So they imported a sh*t load of bull sharks, dropped them in the water, and no one noticed, not even Customs? Yeah, ok, sure, whatever you say.

Maybe they imported shark eggs then grew the sharks lol

Maybe customs is involved somehow.

Maybe the sharks were on the grassy knoll.

So after all the poster, synopsis and even no so good director that was announced, they are taking this seriously putting in a cinema... Looks more for me to be direct to dvd, Syfy, or Friday or Sunday night movie in cable. Which of course once again, nobody is gonna watch it during those days!!!!!

"it's always the black guy who dies first"

Because he's the only to bring a Glock and a bag of coke.

@TheGeil - blacks are the first to die, as is anyone in a red shirt on Star Trek.
Ranger writes:

I'd watch this just to find out...

Their friend (the black guy) gets killed by a shark. Then HOW did they write it that all the stupid white folk CONTINUE to go into the water until they all died?! They were counting on the shark having gone black, it wouldn't go back?

Wait everyone is missing the point. This movie has teeny boobs, sharks and explosions.....so clearly it's going to be the greatest thing on film.

clearly.....

Let this and Friday the 13th be a lesson to all brothas out there. If a group of your white friends ask you to go camping or waterskiing with them, JUST SAY NO.

Come on SAC Mario Van Peebles was never eaten by the shark, It spat him back out again !! Afterwards he felt the shark didn't like black meat ;-)

The trailer is okay, the cast seems right and the plot is good so may this film can be sleeper hit.

Shark Night 3D vs Piranha 3DD, who would win?

I think Shark Night 3D because it is more like thriller where Piranha 3DD may turn out to be a parody because Piranha 3D (2010) was more both the same- it is a spoof and also horror.

At least Ving Rhmes and Christopher Lloyd are returning in Piranha 3DD.

@Trailer: Lol, apperently these river sharks like the dark meat, at least for an appetizer that is. Looks like Barbie and Ken are the main course.
