"Titanic" Re-Released in 3D theaters on April 6thSubmit Comment
Paramount Pictures and 20th Century Fox have announced that James Cameron's "Titanic" will be re-released in 3D theaters on April 6th, 2012. The release marks the 100th anniversary of the Titanic ship setting sail (April 10th).

"There's a whole generation that's never seen 'Titanic' as it was meant to be seen, on the big screen. And this will be 'Titanic' as you've never seen it before, digitally re-mastered at 4K and painstakingly converted to 3D," said Cameron. "With the emotional power intact and the images more powerful than ever, this will be an epic experience for fans and newcomers alike."

"Titanic" hit theaters back in 1997 and became the highest-grossing film of all time with $1.84 billion. The record was eventually beaten by Cameron's "Avatar" film.

@BadChadB33 Even God doesn't know why.

And thats why the world is ending on Saturday, to stop f*ckheads like James Cameron and George Lucas from raping their own movies. It's bascially incest.

Kratos-Maybe that's why God is ending the world on Saturday, to prevent this from happening.

If James Cameron wants Titanic to be successfully again then he should let only those aka the new gerenation who don't know much about the film to watch it in 3D.

I don't expect there will be lots of people who don't know much about Titanic, it is the greatest movie of all time and it's like saying you don't who the Terminator is and haven't watched Terminator 2.

Titanic in 3D? it is a bad idea because people are going vomit when the ship is in the sea as 3D only gives you headaches.

I hope this will work but if it doesn't then no careers are going to be destory expect for Cameron's.

Is it too late or too early to say that this is going to bomb?
Freudian_Nightmare writes:

This is stupid on so many levels. Fans of the film will already own on either blu-ray or dvd, and with a big enough tv, that's better than the cinema. If you haven't seen this film before, or you have but didn't like it, you will not pay to see it. And 3D? f*ck off!
