"Mad Max Fury Road" Villain Revealed!Submit Comment
Australian actor, martial-arts expert and stuntman Richard Norton has joined the cast of George Miller's "Mad Max Fury Road," joining Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron. Now in an interview, Norton confirmed his casting and revealed details about the villain.

"We were meant to be filming right now but they postponed it for a January 2012 start," he said. "I'm really looking forward to this because I'm playing a number of roles, including the main henchman to the bad guy played by Hugh Keays-Byrne who was in the original 'Mad Max' over 30 years ago."

Keays-Byrne was set to play Martian Manhunter in Miller's now-dead "Justice League" movie, but is now the villain in "Mad Max 4."

Norton is also working on "The Amazing Spider-Man," stating that the film has a $220 million budget.

I suppose I'll keep an eye on this one. Could be cool, could be meh.

On a side note, Martian Manhunter is such an underrated DC hero. J'onn is such a pimp.

If it turns out half as good as the Road Warrior, should be good.

Lets hope they get Mel Gibson in for a cameo as well that would a nice touch.

Richard Norton's in this? LOL, The Beard is back! I didn't know that guy was still around. Haven't seen him sense the last China O'Brien movie. I figured this loser would have left the industry and settled down in Australia to raise a family with Cynthia Rothrock a long time ago. Many of you (especially Americans) probably don't know him but Norton actually was a pretty badass martial artist who ended up playing the white bad guy in about 50 international kung fu flicks in the late 80s early 90s. He had one of the best fights I've ever seen with the legend Samo Hung in Jackie Chan's Meals on Wheels. He was in a few other Hong Kong Chan films, but just like Jackie his star lost its shine when he started doing films in America. I guess it helps to be able to act here in the States, and lets just say Mr Norton is no Marlon Brando. Casting him and the bad guy from the original Mad Max movie may be good for nastalgia but it can't be good for the film.

Dont hate on Norton i bet he can kick your ass in real life.

Its an Honor to be in a movie with Sammo Hung,Jackie Chan,Yuen Biao

Better than being in a movie with Clooney or Will Smith.THe action Genre is dead in America unless you like sh*t being blown up like those ridiculous Michael Bay movies.

and Norton has also shared the screen with Chuck Norris

Charlize Theron?

They can do better than her. She is so washed up.
