Update: Ashton Kutcher to Replace Charlie Sheen on "Two and a Half Men"Submit Comment
We just reported about Hugh Grant turning down the chance to replace Charlie Sheen on "Three and a Half Men." And now comes word that another actor has officially signed on... Ashton Kutcher.

Kutcher has been writing cryptic messages on his Twitter account all day, hinting that something is going on. He then added: "What's the square root of 6.25? The answer is, in fact, 2 1/2."

Update: It is being reported that Kutcher will be paid roughly $1 million per episode.

Meanwhile, "Two and a Half Men" creator Chuck Lorre said that he crafted a story line to introduce Kutcher in a way that satisfies the network and studio. "It's really funny," one source said. "People are going to love it."

Hopefully this show doesn't die because of this. But I do have faith in Lorre. He's pretty good at what he does.

Oh wait. He'll probably be an illegitimate son of Charlie. That'd be lame.

Never watched the show when Sheen was in it and won't be watching it now with Ashton either.

Who f*cking watches this sh*t? honestly this show isn't even worthy of leaving on TV while your doing something else like working on the computer or going camping for a week.

Ashton Kutcher is sickening, he always has been, tho he was slightly more tolerable during that 70's show. I guess Nikon commercials can't support a family.

Ashton Kutcher movie career in trouble. He no longer have time to shoot a good movie, especially overseas

I can't really see him working in the part.

Kutcher's one of those people that ages very little in hollywood, appearing as either the stupid young adult or the emo young adult.

Sheen's role, for starters, didn't involve being young.

How about Seth Rogan or James Franco

Instead of playing the drunk they can play the pothead step brother or neighbor

How bout a real comedian is supposed to be a comedy show

Chris Kattan,Norm Macdonald,Dave Chappelle,Damon Wayans are out of a job

Ashton "pretty boy" Kutcher I can't imagine him womanising and sniffing cocaine off hookers vaginas at all.

@ Rambo, i am pretty sure that's exactly how that went down.

@bandolero999, Chris Kattan is on show on ABC called The Middle, and i don't think it's been cancelled, and it's on its second season.

I found 2.5 Men during the Writer's strike (it was on every channel constantly), and since became a fan. The show had top ratings because it was the top viewed comedy (whether you liked it or not). It WAS good. But... the last couple of season, when the show 'went OFF message' and Charlie was no longer a womanizing hound dog and became a whipping post for his fiance 'Chelsea' (see was manipulating him every episode). So if you saw any of those shows with Charlie Harper effectively emotionally neutered... yeth, they sucked pretty bad.

As for Kutcher... I don't see this working.

As 2-dimensional as ALL of Charlie's performances are in anything he plays (always the same character... and that's 'Charlie') there was a great casting blend. With Kutcher (whom apparently knows people that know math re: square root, and the moron liked to play: 'Secret, secret... I gotta secret!' on his Twit account (what a douche). I don't see the same magic with this tool.

Stick with Big Bang, Lorre. That's clearly your bread and butter now.

The only thing Kutcher has done is get cougared by Demi Moore. He cant act hes not funny so 2.5 is history. I was a fan but no longer.
