Hugh Grant Turns Down "Two and a Half Men" Offer of $600,000 Per Episode

Hugh Grant Turns Down "Two and a Half Men" Offer of $600,000 Per EpisodeSubmit Comment
CBS and Warner Bros are running out of time to replace Charlie Sheen on the "Two and a Half Men" reboot. The plan has been to get a top-tier actor, but they don't come cheap, which is why one of the options is to just scrap the show.

Recently, producer Chuck Lorre approached Hugh Grant with an offer of $600,000 per episode. Grant turned it down. THR has learned that Lorre now has his sights on a new unidentified actor.

The reason for the rush is because CBS and Warners will hold a presentation for advertisers on May 18th. If an actor is not on board, that would delay the launch of the show.

Why not offer the role to Lyndsey Lohan she fits the character well

Thoughts anyone?

Whoever said Hugh Grant was funny besides that incident with him and the hooker.

How bout Tom Sizemore or Daniel Baldwin they are both former druggies and d*ckheads

I think he's smart to turn down the offer. The show is losing popularity faster than crap through a goose.

Hugh Grant?! Doesn't he do the charming thing and not so much the funny thing?! Who the f*ck came up with him for an idea?!

Funny though...

A best friend of mine of 21 years (she reminded me of that) and I were talking yesterday. She said I'm the perfect fit to play Charlie. I said I didn't know whether to take that as a compliment or not.

Mickey Rourke loves a top-dollar and does anything crap for money. There you go Warner Bros., I have found you your guy.

The internet rumor mill is saying they got Ashton Kutcher to replace Sheen.

I reckon he could have "pulled it off" (oo er) but I guess he has good reason to turn it down.

Haven't seen any recent episode myself guys..so why has it lost all it's charm.

Ashton Kutcher might be ok, if they have a good reason as to why the charcter has changed.

But as I have said before, not many shows have lasted after the main reason why people watch leaves or gets fired.
