WWE Developing "No One Lives" Horror Film

WWE Developing "No One Lives" Horror FilmSubmit Comment
Back in 2006, WWE Studios released "See No Evil" horror film, which grossed $18 million worldwide and starred Kane. From then, the studio has been developing PG-rated movies like "The Chaperone," "Knucklehead" and "Family Reunion."

Now comes word that WWE is returning to the horror genre with "No One Lives," which will star Luke Evans (The Three Musketeers, Immortals) and will be directed by Ryuhei Kitamura (Midnight Meat Train).

Written by David Cohen, the new movie revolves around a ruthless gang that takes a young couple hostage in an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere. When the captive girl is killed, the tables are unexpectedly turned, and the gang finds itself outsmarted by a seasoned killer.

Evans will play one of the villains. As always, WWE wrestlers will star in supporting roles.

Midnight Meat Train was pretty average, but was impressively shot. The fight between Cooper and Jones in the moving train was great.

Also, based on his previous works Kitamura can deliver a movie that'll at least look great.

I wonder when other cash-bloated franchises will start making films.

Subway: The Footlong Movie. Walmart: Clean up on Aisle Three. Charlie Chocolate Latte: The Starbucks Story.

f*cking stupid.

Weird how WWE is going back to this after trying to get to a PG rating both with their movies and their wrestling. They've toned down quite a bit on their regular progamming lately, both with language and action. You would think they would stick with that in their other ventures as well.

Either way, not sure if this is going to be that good, it sounds a little like that movie a few years ago where the girl gets messed up and her dad goes ballistic on the bad guys. Can't remember the name, wasn't it "Last House on the Left" or something?
