First Look: Pixar's "La Luna" Short FilmPosted: May 6th, 2011 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
Pixar has unveiled the first shot from their upcoming short film, called "La Luna," which is roughly seven minutes long and is directed by Enrico Casarosa (storyboard artist on "Up," "Ratatouille" and "Ice Age").
Plot: "La Luna" is the timeless fable of a young boy who is coming of age in the most peculiar of circumstances. Tonight is the very first time his Papa and Grandpa are taking him to work. In an old wooden boat they row far out to sea, and with no land in sight, they stop and wait. A big surprise awaits the little boy as he discovers his family's most unusual line of work. Should he follow the example of his Papa, or his Grandpa? Will he be able to find his own way in the midst of their conflicting opinions and timeworn traditions?
It is still not know when audiences will be able to see the new short film. The new Pixar movie is "Cars 2," but it already has the "Toy Story" short "Hawaiian Vacation" playing in front of it.

"looks strangely cheap like a veggie-tales."
That's odd then becauser the VT characters do not have arms or legs, and did you know that the first Veggie Tales film was also the very first CG animated movie, not Toy Story, though TS gets the credit oddly enough because the characters therein have...arms and legs. Like I said, odd.
