Tupac Shakur's Only Script to Become a Film

Apparently the late rapper Tupac Shakur wrote a screenplay, called "Live 2 Tell," while spending eleven months in jail on weapons charges. That screenplay has now been acquired by Preston Holmes and Ivan Juzang's NStar Studios.

"Live 2 Tell" revolves around a teenage drug lord and his efforts to leave a life of crime. The production company is planning to begin shooting the film early next year.

"This kid was a genius and he was from this community. He knew the struggles these young people were dealing with," said Juzang. "And he's able to talk to young people in 2011, 2012, the same way he was able to talk to young people in 1995."

Holmes previously collaborated with Shakur's mother to make the "Tupac: Resurrection" documentary.

I hope one day I can be gunned down for being a 'gangster rapper' and have the one and only thing I ever scripted to be made into a sh*tty movie...

Oh wait...I'm white...

"This kid was a genius and he was from this community." So true imagine some of the retarded c*nts like Flo Rider and Lil Wayne writing a script in prison, they can't even read the c*nts.

All my gangsterisms I learned are from CB4. So I think I'm good.

That script is going to be rewritten to the point it won't even resemble Tupac vision, let alone his rotting corpse.

To soon?

""And he's able to talk to young people in 2011, 2012, the same way he was able to talk to young people in 1995."

Because English and/or Ebomnics hadn't changed considerably in 15 years?

You lot have become to used to all the easy targets that they call celebrities now a days. While your internet movie forum membership may qualify you to trash Lindsey Lohan, Channing Tatum, or Paris Hilton,I can guarantee that Tupac Shakur was ten times more intelligent than any of you. This is a fact despite his upbringing, and begrudging someone of the environment they were born is an attitude that belongs in ancient Rome.

Tupac made something of himself, spoke and rapped intelligently, and if you refuse to believe I must insist you read his book and forever put your doubts to rest. He was man worthy of being idolized.

Err, no, he spent 11 months in jail for a brutal rape. (Not that shooting people is any better.)

"I can guarantee that Tupac Shakur was ten times more intelligent than any of you."

Right. Tupac was a piece of sh*t criminal. He brought a gun to a concert that was discharged, killing a child. He shot a cop after nearly striking him and the cop's friends on an Atlanta street. He raped a woman. He went to prison.

He was sc*m. Just because he managed to read and rip-off Macchiavelli, material to his own nature no doubt, doesn't make him anything more than a common gun-toting hood. He named the members of his Outlawz group after anti-American mass-murdering international thugs.

And black people, even morons like Eric Dyson, worship him. No wonder you black folks are so angry and so screwed up in this country. Bet you never put an Einstein poster on your bedroom wall. lol.

Oh, and he was a 'voracious' reader. lol. Sure he was, in prison, where you have nothing but time to read. And the sh*t he read? Stuff you give to average eighth-graders.

"For himself, Tupac created the alias "Makaveli" from renessaince Italian philosopher and strategist Niccolo Machiavelli, whose writings inspired Shakur in prison, but who also preached that a leader could eliminate his enemies by all means necessary."

Yeah, great guy indeed.
minkowski writes:

"He also wrote a screenplay titled Live 2 Tell while incarcerated, a story about an adolescent who becomes a drug baron"

A real John Keats he was, no doubt. And your hero. lol. f*cked. Up.

"Err, no, he spent 11 months in jail for a brutal rape. (Not that shooting people is any better.)"

Alex misread Wiki, wherein the Tupac page they mention Lil Wayne, who was the other criminal in prison for something awful (weapons charges).
minkowski writes:

And I guess if Jeffrey Dahmer had read cookbooks in prison, we'd call him an intellectual too.
