Jim Carrey to Appear on "The Office" FinaleSubmit Comment
THR has learned that NBC is planning to add Jim Carrey to the list of high-profile stars who will appear in this season's final episode of "The Office."

He will join Ricky Gervais, Will Arnett, James Spader, Ray Romano and Catherine Tate as guest stars interviewing for Michael Scott's (Steve Carell) management position that could possibly go to Will Ferrell's Deangelo Vickers.

Meanwhile, John Krasisnki says he still doesn't know who will end up replacing Carell. "We don't know who will replace Steve yet. It might not even be a replacement of Steve, it might be more of a shift," he explained. "Everybody was talking about there being a spin-off of the show years ago and I feel like this is our spin-off."

"The Office" hour-long finale is set to air on May 19th.

High-profile stars is quite a bit of an exaggeration for that list.

I don't even watch the Office, but I'll tune in for the last Carell episode.

because he really needs it and his career is fading to obscurity.The penguins movie WTF

Is good to have James spader back in anything he was pretty big in the 80s and is way more talented that coke fiend Robert Downey jr.

these are just distractions to the fact that they are losing the only character that makes the show worth watching.

Jim Carrey onboard The Office is like inviting Casper the ghost to captain the Flying Dutchman.

Do any of you people ever say anything positive on here???? I think it is gonna be a great episode, and look foreword to season 8. Wow that was easy.

Only a mindless moron would deliberately speak positively of something they think stinks.

Wow, Carrey's career has sunk lower than Larry King's gnads after years of humping.

@The (Who?)Dini

You know, you have a point. Some here might say it might be the top of your head, but I can positively say that Carrey is watching his career disentegrate faster than Lohan's *sshole to the c*ck of her next trick.

Tv is probably a decent career move for Carey. It's the only way he'll ever get back into comedy, that's for sure.
The Ferrel episodes have been great so far but I'm ready for him to go. Looking forward to seeing who will be the new boss, but Carey's my top pick.
