"The Governator" Hires "SpongeBob Squarepants" WriterSubmit Comment
Steven Banks ("SpongeBob Squarepants," "The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius") has been hired to pen Arnold Schwarzenegger's upcoming "The Governator" animated series.

"Throughout my career, whether it has been in body building, movies or politics, my philosophy has always been to bring together the best specialized talent to create projects that people will love," said Schwarzenegger. "Having Steven on board to head up the writing for 'The Governator' series is a fantastic next step."

The series follows an animated Schwarzenegger who, after leaving office in California, takes on a secret identity as a crime-fighting superhero, with the help of an elite squad of teenagers.

Can't tell if that's Lisa Simpson or Carrot-top in his sunglasses. Could be both.

The guy who did the SpongeBob Squarepants Movie is working for Arnold ?

I bet this guy's lifelong dream was to work for washed up actors (Arnie & the (Sk)off) with manboobs, who now have to rely on *holding back the laughter* acting now.

He should've just hired the guys who did the Mighty Mouse reboot in the 90's and have Arnie's character snort coke from a flower...

They oughta hire Ron White to be the voice of the Governator and rename it GovernTater Salad
