Warner Bros recently unveiled the first episode of the "Mortal Kombat: Legacy" web series, giving us a look at Michael Jai White (The Dark Knight) as Jax, Jeri Ryan ("Star Trek: Voyager" as Sonya Blade, and Darren Shahlavi (300) as Kano.

As new episodes are released, we'll get to see even more characters, including Baraka, who was partially revealed in a photo last month. Today, thanks to NY Times, we have a clear shot of the character, played by Fraser Aitcheson. Check out the photo below.

Baraka is the leader of the Tarkatan clan, which is a series of mutant mercenaries who work for Emperor Shao Kahn.

Wtf is that looks like gollum got caught on fire
Guess they couldn't afford the budget for a baraka costume where's the teeth?

Ok, its kind of a fail. Hopefully the fight scene is good.

This sucks. I can understand the budget is not a lot but you might as well not include Baraka if he's gonna look like this!

By the way, this may look like a sh*tty Baraka but it sure as hell is a lot better, even on a low budget, than the Baraka they had on Mortal Kombat Annihilation.

There goes the second episode, down the sh*tter the good thing is that this series are from free so I won't feel cheated if I paid for it.

No liu kang ?Robin Shou's extremely available his last movie was death race 2 and it never came out on theaters
Hint hint.

I doubt this is a promotional shot for the web series, and judging by the first episode, i'd say that once Baraka is in full gear and ready to go, you'll see a very much different looking character than the one in that picture.

Don't knock it until you actually see it in the show.. otherwise when you ASSume... well you know the rest.

don't mind this look. the baraka they had in the original vid last year was some lame ass plastic surgeon with a piercing fetish. MJW is the sh*t. finish 'em all Jax!

WTF! He looks like an orc from LOTR.

What happened to the Baraka from the original promo? The whole pseudo-realistic approach was the one thing this thing had going for it to help it stand apart from the other MK trash.

Looks more like a pimple on Lady Caca's vagina/d*ck.

What happened to the whole serial killer tournament thing? I thought that was dumb but this is just actually Mortal Kombat now.

I just took a sh*t that looks more like Baraka than that failure

It's not bad. Baraka is a monster and this guy is freaky. But I hope they give Mileena accurate teeth.

It's hard to imagine that a goofy 16-bit game originally intended as Jean Clod van Damme game vehicle has turned into a franchise that just won't go away. Must be the 14-35 UFC demographcs keeping this sh*t afloat.

Looks pretty cheap and bad...maybe they should have just went with the more realistic characters..even though all MK characters aren't realistic at all but you know what i mean

What happened? He seemed to look better in the 10 minute teaser? That's straight D-movie status- Walgreen's clearance basket.
