"Superman" Will Show Clark Kent as a ChildSubmit Comment
It has already been announced that Diane Lane will play Martha Kent in the upcoming "Superman" reboot. E! Online has now caught up with Lane, who revealed that the new movie will look at the entire life of Clark Kent.

"I read the script under lock and key. I was locked in a room with the script and was only allowed three hours with it," she explained. "I'm really not allowed to talk much about it, I think, but it does cover the entire range of years, from infancy on."

Lane added: "This is going to be a whole reinvention. A visitation and a reinvention."

The new movie, going by the name "Man of Steel," stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon and Kevin Costner. It is scheduled to hit theaters in December of 2012.

"This is going to be a whole reinvention. A visitation and a reinvention."

Uh oh. Sounds like they just can't leave Donner the f*ck alone.

Donner's Superman was mediocre. Doesn't help that the character is lame.

Is that Kevin Smith in the photo?

The first movie is a classic, it's not flawless but saying it was mediocre is just retarded. And Superman is a fantastic character, so with all due lack of respect, stfu. XD

Superman is a boring character. At least in movies and tv. He comes across as an emotionless board of wood. Sort of like Kevin Costner. Don't get me wrong. I think Chris Reeves is the f*cking man and did a good job as Supes. But the movie was lame. The spinning around the earth bit was retarded. Plus the special kiss scene in the sequel was atrocious.
Th only thing about this superman movie that peaks my interest is Michael Shannon as Zod. Amazing actor.
Oh, yeah, and Amy Adams and Diane Lane too. f*ck Superman. The movie should just be a extreme lesbian version of Black Swan with Adams and Lane f*cking.

So the Donner movies did or didn't happen?

GOD!! why cant anyone just make a good action-packed Superman film without the origins? this is probably gon' take like an hour from the movie. i mean who the hell on earth doesnt know who Superman is or where he came from??

@Dave - they did. But that whole season of 'Dallas' was just a dream of Pam Ewing's.
