Russell Brand's "Hop" and "Arthur" Top Box Office

There were four new wide releases this weekend, but none of them could top last weekend's domestic box office winner "Hop," which once again took first place with another $22 million. "Hop," voiced by Russell Brand, has now grossed $68 million on a $63 million budget.

In second place came the remake of "Arthur," starring Brand and Helen Mirren, with $12.6 million. The film fell a bit short of expectations and will have some trouble making back its $40 million budget.

"Hanna," starring Eric Bana and Saoirse Ronan, took third with $12.3 million. The film also cost $40 million and will also struggle despite getting good reviews.

Family film "Soul Surfer," which had the highest per screen average out of all the wide releases, grossed $11.1 million and ended up in fourth place.

And even though many people expected for "Your Highness" to end up in first or second place, the comedy took sixth with only $9.5 million. The film cost $50 million to develop, which means that it will likely not make back it's budget domestically.

YEs this douchebag gets some hot women even married Katy Perry but that makes her a douche as well.

it is what it is

Doesn't matter about personality and looks. If you're wealthy and famous you can have any hot bitch you want because for really good-looking woman (all woman, really) appearance is power and a marketable commodity.

just look at charlie sheen he's no brad pitt

He's no Michael J. Fox either.

Listen to Tony Montana. He always tells the truth, even when he lies:

"In this country, you gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money, you get the power. Then when you get the power, then you get the women."

some cubans in miami think that the movie scarface was a true story HAHA

and Notorious PIG and other idiotic rappers also said that line.

I have a hard time believing a rapper could ever say anything remotely intelligent, Bando.

Sucks for Your Highness. I enjoyed it, but i knew it was going to bomb.

Hanna exceeded my expectations.

Sorry folks... I like Brand.

I think he's refreshing. His talk show interviews are off the wall... but not nutso like Robin (washed-up) Williams.

Just watched (again): 'Get him to the Greek!' this weekend. Brand gives an amazing performance. Not so much the funny, obvious stuff, but more-so when his character gets 'deep' in the movie. I'm not surprised his career is going this well. Maybe his is good, or there just isn't any comedic competition out there for him.

i like brand. he's funny, especially when he is in a British show in his element. watch the big fat quiz of the year where he's teamed up with Noel Fielding. Never thought a quiz show could be that funny.

i liked 'your highness'. i'm not surprised that it wasn't #1, it's a stoner movie. it's not for the masses.

Heh, who knew?

I was expecting Hanna at #1
