Arnold Schwarzenegger Also in Talks for "The Tomb"

Arnold Schwarzenegger Also in Talks for "The Tomb"Submit Comment
We just reported that Arnold Schwarzenegger has been in talks with Lionsgate to star in "Last Stand" action film. He has already received an offer, but that doesn't mean that the movie will be his big screen return.

Variety has learned that the actor is considering another project, "The Tomb," to be directed by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day). The film is about a structural security expert who's framed for a crime and put in a high-security prison that he designed.

It seems that "Last Stand" will end up being Schwarzenegger's first film since leaving office. Mostly because Fuqua is getting ready to shoot his Tupac Shakur biopic and will not be available for "The Tomb" until the end of the year.

@cinema

LOL! Sounds like a sequel for THE BUCKET LIST. With Arnold and Sly as aging dudes that go on an epic adventure before they both die of OLD AGE.

Im sick of all these rumors, just because they made an offer doesnt mean he will accept either. Get some confimable news alex. Anything would be better than the governator and remember he still currently out of shape so coorecting that right now is his prioity.

Interesting premise for The Tomb, but I was hoing, at first site, this was the film version of F. Paul Wilson's excellent 1984 action-horror novel of the same name.

http://www.amazon.com/Tomb-Repairman-Jack-Novels/dp/0812580370

Now this book should be madeinto a movie.

Also, H.P. Lovecraft wrote a short story ofthe same name which was turned into a Saw-like horror film. 1.7 on IMDb.

"Arnold Schwarzenegger in talks for 'sh*t Sandwich'"

Why? Is he remaking Junior?
minkowski writes:
on April 8th, 2011 at 10:36:35 PM

I love the arguments people are having over at IMDb, with some of them claiming that Junior isn't a bad movie because it revolves around an insipid plot device (man gives birth to a child) involving a magical drug (expectane)which may be nothing more than a hormone c*cktail, somehow forgetting that getting pregnant, gestating, and ultimately giving birth isn't merely a matter of simple hormones and more a matter of the underlying genetic machinery of female physiology that makes seamless delivery of a living child possible.

Men. Pfffft.
Ranger writes:
on April 8th, 2011 at 10:41:34 PM

Yeah... I'm preeetttyyyyy sure Jr. is his worst movie (BY FAR!).
Ranger writes:

And I WAS considering Last Action Hero and Jingle Sinbad's Balls... flicks too.

Kinda sounds like a Prison Break rip off
Whitta writes:

"sh*t Sandwich" would actually be an entirely new film with a comedic take on Arnie mistaking a piece of sh*t for a sausage on bread.
Co-staring Rob Schneider

It was on the 2010 Blacklist.
minkowski writes:

I actually very much enjoyed Last Action Hero, and I think people miss the point that it isn't an action film per se, it's Shane Black's parody of action films as seen through a boy's eyes.
