The Baraka and Cage fight was a much much better clip than this. And that ending was lame, oh let's cross each other and run opposite directions after trying to kill each other

Yeah, but I thought MK was about guys and girls in somewhat Asian outfits fighting one another with lighting and bizarre combo moves.

Looks nothing like the two films. Or the video games.

aha, very true, at least the new game has got that down, but this looks interesting a little bit. Just the way it explores bring all those characters into the real world.

Finally Darren SHalavi (the white dude) gets roles in the US I hope I see him kick the sh*t outta Jason Statham one day or fight against Scott Adkins.

Michael Jai White is the poor man's Wesley Snipes another talented actor and martial artist that is unapreciated in hollywood and has to be in B movies and instead puts the rock or vin diesel.Black Dynamite was another funny Grindhouse movie.

Anyone else miss when a different form of media for a franchise would be like "MORTAL KOMBAT: THE BOOK"

"MORTAL KOMBAT: THE BREAKFAST CEREAL"?

Now we have all these subtitles instead. f*ck this

a little over the top with the sound effects, completely devalues it. hope the rest is not like this and more like the pliot.

Not the greatest clip but I have faith still from the first clip they showed.
Sucks it'll be a digital series but then again, I guess it's a good thing. More freedom to stretch the boundaries but limited by budget. It would have been cool if SyFy of G4 would have picked it up as a series.

I don't say this that often, don't think think I've ever said it on here.

But damn, that was gay.

When you play the games, how could you possibly think you could make something "realistic" out of it? Better question, why would you want to?

The series is all about over-the-top (To the Nth degree) action, and punches that send foes 20-ft high. If done right that sounds like something that could be what everybody wants. Something that's bloody, fun, and downright ridiculous. f*ck these realistic approaches.
