Keanu Reeves on "Bill and Ted 3" Story Details

Keanu Reeves on "Bill and Ted 3" Story DetailsSubmit Comment
Back in October, Keanu Reeves revealed that he and Alex Winter will return for the third "Bill and Ted" movie, and that writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon (Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey) have already cracked the story.

MTV has now caught up with Reeves to get an update. "The writers are six weeks away from a draft," he said, adding that the plot will tie-in with the second film in the franchise.

"When we last got together, part of it was that Bill and Ted were supposed to have written the song that saved the world, and it hasn't happened," Reeves explained. "So they've now become kind of possessed by trying to do that. Then there's an element of time and they have to go back."

Keanu still hasn't short circuited yet? Must be made in Japan.

Execellent Adventure is still one of my favourites. But I dont think a third one would do well. Arnt they both too old?

But if they make a third movie I will watch it.

Will be seeing this if it ever actually lands in theaters. Am a fan of the first 2 although Bogus adventure was a little on the bogus side, but they did warn you in the title right?

Also have to say pretty cool of Reeves to come back to this franchise

Watched Bill and ted's Excellent Adventure again the other week.

It wasn't as good as i remember it being,In fact a little disappointing ....

Bogus Journey was never any good 1st time round IMO

Without George Carlin this movie is hopeless.

Gates said it best, without Carlin this movie shouldn't exist, unless they can computer generate him or something. Haha.

wonder if theyre at least going to have age play a part in this. It would be odd if they both carried on like they were still in high school...

Keanu has spent decades doing more serious grown up roles with his signature flat acting and is now turning back to his stoner adolescent role for yet another sequel. Is Hollywood this f*cking hardup for new material?

I might be crazy but I like Keanu Reeves, and I loved the Bill and Ted movies.

It would be interesting to see Alex Winter act in a movie. I couldnt imagine that troll of a human being aged very well.

I hope he doesn't read this, it would eliminate our chance of ever being friends.

On a more interesting note. Keanu Reeves is said to be thousands of years old and possibly immortal. This makes sense to me.

Which is why this might not work. Unless you want to see Ted Theodore Logan and his Dads excellent adventure.. Alex Winter is not immortal. Which means that hes aged a good 20 years where Keanu has not.

I don't know where I'm going with this but, There can be only one.

JohnZee writes:

The first Bill and Ted movie was almost endurable with a combination of four Valiums, twenty bong hits, a fifth of Tequila, a fifth of Jack Daniels, and two half-naked cheerleaders on either side of the television screen tossing a 12 inch double headed purple dildo back and forth after each 15 minutes of use.

Almost endurable, as even then there are still several minutes of footage in the first movie where one would be tempted to head towards the nearest exit.

The second movie?

That's wake someone up from a coma bad.

Sounds great! I loved the Bill and Ted series. I hope they play up the adult jokes a bit more in this one though. It always seemed like such a missed opportunity keeping the humor too clean.
