Jason Momoa Confirms "Conan the Barbarian" Sequel PlansSubmit Comment
In an interview with Jason Momoa, the actor was asked whether there are any plans of a sequel to the "Conan the Barbarian" remake he is working on.

"Oh yeah," he replied. And while a second installment will likely heavily depend on the box office results of the first film, Momoa is confident that fans will love the movie.

"I got to see a rough cut, and people are going to be stoked," he explained. "We're not remaking anything Arnold did. It's a totally new story. The same legendary character. We're taking these tons and tons of great Robert E. Howard stories from the 30s, and combining a couple and bringing it to audiences in a way that's new and fresh."

""Oh yeah," he replied"

Who the f*ck is this guy? the Kool Aid(s) man?

Yeah, it ain't cool to have AIDS, Homoa.

"And while a second installment will likely heavily depend on the box office results"

What a fresh idea. FOX, take notice.

"Momoa is confident that fans will love the movie."

Fans of what? Gay pornography?

"I got to see a rough cut"

...when you dad dropped his pants and anally raped you?

" people are going to be stoked"

...with rage?

"We're not remaking anything Arnold did"

Because "Beastmaster: The Golden Shower" isn't bad enough.

The movie hasn't even come out yet and this guy's already bragging.I'm rooting for the Avatar baddie can't remember his name,he's gonna beat the f*ck outta him at first, then Homoa will somehow find a way to kill him in an unrealistic way and then the movie ends. This movie will compete with in the name of the king by Uwe boll and Battlefield earth and they are both major flops.

So Momoa is going to have the same relevancy as Arnold now ? None ?

Good. I hope he breaks a hip, is put on medication and blows up the Rikishi's size, gets a coronary and dies.

Jason's press junket oughta include photo shoots for Vogue and Cosmopolitan ... he's wearing enough foundation and mascara, he SHOULD be on the cover of womens' glamour magazines.

Meanwhile, this f*cker forgets that Brett Ratner's name is attached to this f*cking movie. A sure sign of a piece of sh*t that will attract illiterate, GED Award winning hood rats from the inner cities with baggy pants, gold caps and nickel plated guns. In other words, his fans.

When there's a shooting at a showing of this movie, don't be f*cking surprised.

And again right there is why the movie will fail.

Now that Arnie is back in Hollywood, he is looking at options for his next big screen project. I hope his list includes taking a time out and stomping on this f*cking Momoa's head and reclaim his title. A video of that would be far more entertaining than this soon to be DVD sh*tfest. No one f*cks with original Conan.

Krom.

I know I was one of the tougher critics here when he was first announced to replace Arnold as Conan but I am going to try to give him the benefit of the doubt and not criticize him until I see the movie. I do WANT and HOPE they succeed in getting Robert E. Howard essence to translate to the big screen and with enough time any man can pack on more and more muscles for the sequels if there are any to get more Conan like. At least from the latest shots he does look pretty big, at least by now day standards anyway.
Orias writes:

If any of you saw the movie Bigger, Faster, Stronger you would realize Arnold CANNOT BE Conan anymore unless he was playing the gray-haired elder Conan in his elder years on the throne of Aquilonia. His muscles without the steroids and constant 8 hour lifting days when he was gov. for so many years have sagged away to almost nothing.
