Universal Pictures Selling "Scarface" Blu-ray for $999.99 Posted: March 29th, 2011 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
Universal Studios Home Entertainment is planning to release "Scarface" on Blu-ray on September 6th. The disc will come with all the DVD extras, in addition to a documentary about the film's influence on filmmakers and culture. There will also be a feature to let you keep track of the number of F-words and bullets fired. The studio is planning to release several versions of the Blu-ray. One will be the regular edition. Another will be a limited edition that comes with a digital copy of the movie and the original 1932 classic. And finally, Universal will be selling a rare edition that will cost $999.99. There will be only 1,000 copies available of the expensive version. But why does it cost so much more? Apparently each Blu-ray disc comes with a hand-painted humidor.

They way the economy is today for middle class people or poor people in America and Universal wants to charge more than 100 dollars for a bluray f*ck YoU.you get the whole lord of the rings movies and starwars movies for about 90 or 100 dollars.

I know fifty and diddy are buying a copy
bandolero999 writes: on March 29th, 2011 at 8:00:56 AM
I know rappers will buy that sh*t because a rapper in miami of the name rick ross spent a million dollars at the strip club in one night for his birthday and they had to bring armored trucks to get all that money in.

There isn't just the $999.99 version for sale, i'm sure middle class and poor Americans will able to buy a $29.99 copy or just rent it at blockbusters (if it's still there).
Greatest Gangster movie, It's a tie for me The Godfather Saga (in chronological order) and Goodfellas both awesome movies

I recently watched the 1932 original on youtube. It was a really great crime film for being from that era.
minkowski writes: on March 29th, 2011 at 1:27:03 PM
Yeah, reputedly Al Capone himself enjoyed the film so much, he purchased his very own copy, and then he took it to Alcatraz and played it through the PA system like when Andy Dufresne played Marriage of Figaro to the boys down on Shawshanks courtyard.

Best gangster movies of all time are: Deuxieme Souffle, Le Doulos, Rififi, Little Caesar, Roaring Twenties, Breathless, Le Samourai, Le Cercle Rouge, Bob Le Flambeur and Key Largo.
For me anyway, the original Scarface was far superior to the remake.

Belmondo Bogart -
Little Caesar (Edward G Robinson best role), Roaring Twenties and Angels With Dirty Faces are great Cagney movies (along with White Heat) Some classic films there thats for sure.
Only ever seen the original Scarface once a long time ago will have to dig that out again (on vhs)
bandolero- Wellworth checking out some of those old movies if you can.
Sergio Leone's Once Upon A Time In America is a tough long film to watch, but it's a great movie at the same time.

not even the best movie on earth is worth this much. i'm probably gonna get sh*t for this but this movie is terrible as it is f*cking overrated. $999.99?! does it come with yeyo and an automatic assault rifle?
MoneyHayabusa writes: on March 29th, 2011 at 6:37:35 PM
HAHAHAHAHAHA. Snoop Dogg's probably already got his on reserve. The target audience for that edition is so obvious it's politically incorrect.
bandolero999 writes: on March 29th, 2011 at 7:27:28 PM
@retardicon youre right this movie is just a comedy but all the people that are into hiphop praise it like is part of their everyday life. Some stupid cubans actually thought the movie was a true story
Ranger writes: on March 29th, 2011 at 9:03:39 PM
Is should come with Megan Fox attached to my d*ck.
