Update: Five "Thor" Character PosterSubmit Comment
Today we have five character posters from the upcoming "Thor" movie, featuring shots of Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Odin (Anthony Hopkins), Heimdall (Idris Elba) Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), and Sif (Jaimie Alexander). Check them out below.

Update: We just added a poster of Tom Hiddleston as Loki.

Plot: "Thor" spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is The Mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

The new film is directed by Keneth Branagh (Frankenstein) and is scheduled to hit 2D and 3D theaters on May 6th.

The god of homosexuality.

The king of selling out.

The guardian of the crack pipe.

The woman of my dreams.

The bitch I'd really like to bang.

But no, these are just awful, and if Branagh is that naive to think he can sell Shakespearan concepts to the XBox generation, he's going to be quite mistaken.

I quit playing games way back when every FPS started looking like every other FPS and when every RPG was more about graphics than story. *cough* *hack* Final Fantasy *hack* *cough*

The last system I purchased was a Wii, and *only* to play New Super Mario Brothers, which was a let down because I beat the damned thing in a few hours. That and classic controllers are *extra*.

I'd rather play some obscure sh*t like Sam and Max on my PC than anything these so-called 'cutting edge' consoles have to offer.

And 'GOD' on a poster... hasn't stirred up a beehive with any religious faction yet?!

... Seriously?

Those are some crappy ass looking posters. But I guess they didn't want to do a group image with everyone together and then have to cut the guy playing Heimdall out of the image for their international posters.

How can Marvel, who's sole job is to create interesting imagery on print do such a sh*tty job with posters for their own movie.
Same with IronMan. It's like they source all their stuff out to some intern who really enjoys using opacity filters.

I don't see the reason why you would include Heimdall in a character poster. I'm sure his role is minor. I would love it if Marvel would admit they only gave him a character poster just to attract some black audiences.

"It's like they source all their stuff out to some intern who really enjoys using opacity filters."

Photoshop doesn't use filters for opacity, that's controlled by sliders, and not the guys from that 1990s sci-fi TV show either.
