Brad Pitt's "World War Z" Zombie Film May Not HappenPosted: March 23rd, 2011 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
The big screen adaptation of Max Brooks' "World War Z" book has Brad Pitt attached to star and director Marc Foster (Quantum of Solace) attached to helm. Unfortunately, Paramount isn't willing to finance the entire production, which may cost more than $125 million.
The studio is searching for a co-financier, but if it is not able to find one, Paramount will not fund the entire movie or lower the budget. Instead, the plan is to pull the plug on "World War Z." And all this after Foster agreed to deliver a PG-13 film.
"World War Z" is about a worldwide infestation of flesh-eating zombies. The book is a detailed tale in which a researcher for the UN Postwar Commission interviews survivors from countries all over the world, 10 years after the crisis, to gather a first-person post-mortem on a war that obliterated every country on the map.

Why do the films never look as good as the concept art with the exception of a few (Empire Stikes Back, 300) but yeah PG13 would ruin this whole thing bring back the 18's. f*ck mass audiences they're retards anyway.

Can't blame Paramount for not wanting to stump up all the cash for a Zombie flick.
The most successful zombie films rarley take mega money at the boxoffice and making it a PG-13 wouldn't have helped i don't think.

That said Resident Evil Afterlife took $300mil W/W and that was a piece of crap but at least they made it R rated, So maybe that is the way to go.

Zombieland was pretty descent, it maked good money and it was rated R. But the thing is that the script was good and I bet they don't have one for this.

Coldplay-
Zombieland did make money but only about a $100mil W/W it took 3/4 of it's take in the US alone.
You can double that $125mil budget once you add on all the worldwide advertising and everything else that goes into releasing a movie around the world.
You can see why Paramount are nervous about committing 100% to the project on their own.

Seriously, is no one but me sick of zombie films? How can such a thin and hollow subgenre have so many hyperventilating fans? Rhetorical question?

They need to make this movie. The book was kickass. If they do end up making it (hopefully) it has to be R rated though in order to get the full effect

There are different gaming studios in the world which are working for the development of gaming society in good pace. YOu have to do work for this. There are different sites which are providing the essay writer service in which you can see the reviews about this game.
