Today we have a domestic trailer for the upcoming "Dylan Dog: Dead of Night" movie, based on the best-selling horror comic series. Check it out below.

Plot: Brandon Routh (Superman Returns) stars as Dylan Dog, world famous private investigator specializing in affairs of the undead. His PI business card reads "No Pulse? No Problem." Armed with an edgy wit and carrying an arsenal of silver and wood-tipped bullets, Dylan must track down a dangerous artifact before a war ensues between his werewolf, vampire and zombie clients living undercover in the monster infested backstreets of New Orleans.

The movie is directed by Kevin Munroe (TMTN) and is set to get a limited theatrical release on April 29th.

Oh wow...the oddity of this film alone has gotten my attention. Count me in.

It's been out in Europe for some time now.
I've been waiting for this one for a while.

This looks good and I hope Routh's career gets a bit of a boost from it. He gets a lot of blame for the failure of that last SUPERMAN franchise... but the blame for that should be placed squarely on the shoulders of Singer and whoever wrote that pathetic excuse for a script.

I hope this will flop badly, really badly, Uwe Boll badly! Cannot have Dylan Dog without Groucho or Bloch, that is sooo wrong. This is just a generic cgi monster movie in which somebody put a title of a known euro comic.

That looks pretty sweet.

Well, at least it looks better than Superman Returns.

Hey you guys this is another hollywood bullsh... i have been reading the comick book since i was 7 and this is nothing like the Dylan i know.

Firts it is dark and Dylan f*ck...s every girl he meets.
secund there is a character based on gruncho marxs and he adds special feel to is with his humor
third dylan has so much gore that it maked you puke this should be like R

another dissapointed sh*t for me

Ok,I will think of this as Dylan Dog in alternate reality where he is American, there is no Groucho and Dylan believes in supernatural and is more like Constantine than Dylan Dog.Alternate reality.Because this isn't Dylan Dog.I'm still watching it though

Love the comic book. Movie looks a little goofy, but might be funny. Besides I belive Brandon Routh deserves some reckognition. Great actor.

Looks quite inconsistent, and that's just from the trailer.

P.S. Routh was my favorite part of Scott Pilgrim.

I just read an article on why they had to cut Groucho; apparently there was an issue of likeness rights with Marx's estate, so they had to settle for an undead assistant.

Personally, I can't wait to see this.

PG-13 will kill this one. Too bad, looks like it had potential.
Bunny X writes:

I've been a fan of the comic for some time and this is so watered down that they might as well call it something else.
But @SAC is exactly right, the PG=13 tag kills this film. They should have stayed closer to the comicand gone R with it. It would have been cult fav. But once again, Hollywood thinking they knw what's best. Dolts
