Spike Jonze and Charlie Kaufman Re-Team for New Film

Spike Jonze and Charlie Kaufman Re-Team for New FilmSubmit Comment
Annapurna Pictures is negotiating to acquire a satire film that will re-team director Spike Jonze and writer Charlie Kaufman, the duo behind "Adaptation" and "Being John Malkovich."

The new movie is about how world leaders gather to figure out all the seismic events that will take place in the world, from oil prices to wars that will be waged.

Kaufman is also looking to direct "Frank Or Francis," from his own script. The film chronicles a volatile back and forth between a film director (Frank) and an online blogger (Francis), who takes delight in berating his cinematic talent. Meryl Streep is in talks to star.

Sounds good. Kaufman is always interesting and Jonze need to bounce back from Where The Wild Things Are.

Jonze is a f*cking genius, i had no problem with Where The Wild Thins are he stuck closely to source material. Being John Malcovich is randomness at it's beautiful best. If the film is going to be realistic America will not turn up to that meeting but instead bomb the sh*t out of all the other world leaders and take the world.

Keep meaning to watch Where The Wild Things Are, used to like the books as kid.

Mixed opinions from you guys on that...

The Beastie Boys Sabotage video is still one of my favorite music video/short film though, Brilliant.

So they're making a doc*mentary about the NWO? Whatever they make there's no doubt it will be full of misinformation since they're part of the elite establishment themselves.

It's nice to hear the duo are getting back together. It's also to hear Kaufman is directing another film. The is littered with amazing talent.

So basically he's making a boring, paranoid, conspiracy filled film on leaders...leading?

Because wars are planned like the Special Olympics, right? And yes, OPEC sets oil prices, thank god, or else they'd float on market demand rather than individual economic conditions.

I would seriously like to hear just what either of these guys have done that was brilliant? Being John Malkovitch? Vastly over rated and nonsensical. Haven't seen Adaptation, but I'm willing to bet a few cookies it's not Shakespeare.

These guys are just idiots with an idiots understanding of how the world works, filling the gaps in their knowledge with homemade trash and sh*t from Alex Jones.

"The film chronicles a volatile back and forth between a film director (Frank) and an online blogger (Francis), who takes delight in berating his cinematic talent. Meryl Streep is in talks to star."

I'll have to hit the black tar before watching.
