Professor X and Magneto in "X-Men: First Class" PostersSubmit Comment
Today we have two character posters from the upcoming "X-Men: First Class," featuring a look at Professor X (James McAvoy) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender). Check them out below.

Plot: Before Charles Xavier (McAvoy) and Erik Lensherr (Fassbender) took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were archenemies, they were closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-Men.

The new movie is directed by Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass) and is scheduled to hit theaters on June 3rd.

But seriously i like what Vaughn is doing with this not trying to hard to make it looks like the other xmen films i cant wait for this. If only Bryan Singer had finished the trilogy this would be the comic book version of the hobbit.

Magneto hopefully will be what i hope he will be in this film. Completly badass, hunting down Nazis and seeking revenge!

@Spartan

This is set about 15 years after World War II so I don't think he will be hunting Ratzis

I pray this movie will make sense

"This is set about 15 years after World War II so I don't think he will be hunting Ratzis"

Incorrect. A number of high profile and powerful Nazis escaped Germany, and the subsequent Nuremberg trials, to live quite well in places like Brazil and Argentine. So, Skippy is spot on.

Thanks for playing.

Oh, and the posters are ok, but they have flaws in composition, and the foreshadowing could have been a bit more subtle.

liking the posters ...

@mink

True enough and I am completely aware of that, but I am talking from comic POV.See, Magneto and Professor X never bothered with Nazis after World War II
minkowski writes:

Well, they should have, right? I mean, who'd they think they were? Indiana Jones?
