Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Scott Pilgrim vs the World) has signed on to play Mary Todd, Abraham Lincoln's wife, in the upcoming vampire adventure "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter." Benjamin Walker (Flags of Our Fathers) plays the title character.

Story revolves around the president's quest to rid the world of vampires, presented as the real conflict behind the Civil War.

"Quick, Spooky! That reb over there ... he's a vampire! "

" Yessa, yessa! "

Guess that ol' spiritual

" Jump down, turn around,
pick a bale of cotton,
jump down, turn around,
pick a bale of hay."

was code of how to attack rebel vampires.

She is f*cking hot, definitely! Really hot in Scott Pilgrim & Grindhouse. I actually read the book, so her cast is huge bonus points

lol, they do know that Mrs. Lincoln was ugly and crazy as hell right?

Um, not to be a buzzkill or anything, but has anyone making this movie ever SEEN a picture of Mrs. Lincoln? Hardly a hottie. Short and dumpy, more like. Just saying, wtf.

You would hope then that most people realize Mary Todd was squat and about as feminine as a brick sh*thouse. But when you cast a twenty-something into the role of a fifty year old man, and throw in vampires and other assorted nonsense, what really does it matter than your female co-star hardly resembles her historical namesake?

None. And Bekmambetov is a hack of the second-order.

Holy sh*t, if they can get Liam Neeson to be this Lincon vampire killer, that would be ace!
