Jay Roach to Direct "Game Change," About Obama/McCain Presidential ElectionSubmit Comment
The Wrap has learned that Jay Roach (Meet the Parents, Austin Powers) has signed on to direct the political drama "Game Change" for HBO Films.

The project reunited Roach which his "Recount" writer Danny Strong. That film, about the 2000 election recount in Florida, won an Emmy and Golden Globe back in 2008.

"Game Change" is based on "Game Change: Obama and the Clintons, McCain and Palin, and the Race of a Lifetime," the best-selling 2010 book by John Heilemann and mark Halperin. The movie will explore the drama and personalities behind the 2008 presidential election.

How about a challenge?(or maybe it won't be) Do a movie about the 2000 election and how Bush shouldn't have won and the Flordia scandal. Thats a film worth watching.

Or a film about George Bush trying to land and vacation in any of the 27 European or South American countries that have a warrant for his arrest.
Now that's a Roger Moore doc*mentary I'd actually watch.

Great.

More c*cksucking of the Lawn Jockey currently occupying the White House by Hollywood. They're the ones I blame for influencing the majority of my retarded population to vote for him. Hollywood and Oprah.

Like we've already completely forgotten about the election from just over 2 years ago.

"Do a movie about the 2000 election and how Bush shouldn't have won and the Flordia scandal."

By all accounts, Bush should have won. That's a lie and you know it. Every recount performed had Bush the winner in Florida, period.

And Gore violated a number of contitutional regulations on elections by turning a popular referendum into an execution of tort law.

How do you people justify spreading lies? For the 'common good'? Stalin and Machiavelli would be proud I guess. And so would Goebbels.

"Or a film about George Bush trying to land and vacation in any of the 27 European or South American countries that have a warrant for his arrest."

That's entirely untrue as well, Rabid, and you must know it. I would hope anyway.

George Bush wishes it was untrue.
147 countries signed the anti-torture bill with the UN. 27 of those signatory countries signed an extradition treaty that detains any person suspected of violation of the anti-torture charter.
So far he's been warned away from France, Switzerland, Spain, Sweden, Venezuela, and Chile.
Hey I approve of the use of torture. I'm not some bleeding heart who thinks life is sacred. But I still love to see Bush get put the ringer regardless just for starting a completely uneccessary war. There simply has to be an idiot tax when it comes to invading innocent countries, and Geneva is a decent place to start.
