Uwe Boll Suing Film Festival for Rejecting His "Auschwitz" Movie

Uwe Boll Suing Film Festival for Rejecting His "Auschwitz" MovieSubmit Comment
Uwe Boll has submitted his "Auschwitz" film to be part of the Berlin Film Festival, but it was rejected because he refused to pay the application fee, which is only $170.

Boll is accusing the festival of breach of trust and unfair competition in its selection process, and has revealed that he will file criminal charges next week.

"[Dieter] Kosslick has been fighting me for the last 25 years, as Berlin festival director and before, when he was head of (German regional film board) the NRW Filmstiftung," said Boll. "I don't believe the [Berlin Film Festival] handles all films fairly. Kosslick has his deals with the major studios and invites his old pals from the Filmstiftung days. There isn't fair competition."

Boll's suit claims that many films picked for the festival, particularly Hollywood films, did not have to pay a fee, making the festival criminally liable.

The festival's head of press commented on Boll's remarks, stating: "The entry fee is only required for films that apply to the festival. [Our guidelines allow us to] waive the fee for films we invite to be submitted, which is the case for many films we screen outside of Germany. It is all legal."

Well $170 was probably the budget for the whole movie...give it up and get a job on a farm or something.

Nobody wants to see your WWII movie made with GI Joes and an old Castle Grayskull playset anyway, Uwe. GIVE IT UP!!

Uwe Boll is a broke c*nt, can't even afford the application. He probably works at some German Kraut restaurant while he makes his movies that nobody sees.

Is anybody surprised Uwe Boll doesn't have $170? I hear he sleeps in a van down by the river. Where he dreams up new sh*t films to punish us.

In other words, if you're Robert Frost, you get your poems printed for free plus royalties, but if you're the Uwe Boll of poetry, you have to pay the 'vanity publishing' fee just to see your garbage in the public.

So Boll is complaining that the festival refused to pick up the tab to have his sh*t shown in public, right? So what, the festival wasn't socialistic enough? Not enough subsidies to have his garbage provided to the public at no cost to him? What a greedy, socialist loser hack fraud liar charlatan turd.

Pay the vanity fee you f*cking stooge!

"Kosslick has been fighting me for the last 25 years"

This guy always says someone has a vendetta against him, I mean jesus christ, does he honestly think his films are worthwhile in the least bit.

I will tell you something, this is probably the most stubborn person in the world. (Or maybe its just ignorance?) Maybe both. Either way, he takes both of those to ultra extremes.
minkowski writes:
