"The Roommate" Beats James Cameron's "Sanctum" This Weekend

"The Roommate" Beats James CameronSubmit Comment
"The Roommate" thriller grossed over $15 million at the weekend box office, which was good enough to take first place and almost make back the $16 million budget. "'Roommate' definitely reached its target audience. They went out in droves to see it," said Sony. "This is pretty cool for us."

James Cameron's 3D cave adventure/thriller "Sanctum" had to settle for second place with $9.2 million. The film cost $30 million and was only able to bring in an additional $3.1 million from Australia and the UK. Clearly a disappointing start and Universal Pictures is blaming everything on the Super Bowl.

Meanwhile, "The Rite," "The Mechanic" and "The Dilemma" all landed in the top ten but continue underperforming. All three will likely not make back their budgets.

Cameron got beat out by a movie that reminds me off that cheezy Sorority Row remake ?

Boy, I bet he wishes he cut that airhose now, having financed Rectum, the movie.

Now this makes me understand what the meaning to the title " Hurt Locker " really meant.

It was the safe word Kathryn Bigelow had to use when servicing James Cameron in their 'dungeon room', down the hall from the bedroom.

" Clearly a disappointing start and Universal Pictures is blaming everything on the Super Bowl. "

That's like blaming Shannon Price for that low budget necropheliac movie, post mortem of her servicing Gary's corpse in the funeral parlor the night before the funeral,
called "Diff'rent Strokes : Arnold's Last Ride ".

Well who was the f*cking marking genius that didnt look at a goddamn calendar and thought " hey maybe we shouldnt release our movie on SB weekend " FU james Karma a fickle bitch ! But dont worry he will re-re-release it every 18 months with added scenes only in IMAX , then on the bluray , then on netflix .

Someone should beat Cameron's 'inner sanctum' with a broom, mate.

If only you were joking...
