"Scarface" Director to Remake "Love Crime" ThrillerPosted: January 27th, 2011 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
Brian De Palma (Scarface, The Untouchables) has signed on to direct "Passion," a remake of the French thriller "Crime d'amour (Love Crime)." The original was released last year and revolved around two feuding corporate executives, one of whom is driven to murder the other.
"Not since 'Dressed to Kill' have I had a chance to combine eroticism, suspense, mystery and murder into one spellbinding cinematic experience," De Palma told Variety.
The $30 million remake will be set in the UK and has a budget of $30 million. Principal photography is scheduled to start in August.

Rambo-
Yep the guy has made some good movies over the years.
The Gangster Rappers of this world wouldn't have anything to watch at night if he hadn't made Scarface.
The last film of his i liked was Snake Eyes thought was pretty good.
It's been pretty non existent from him since then (1998).

WOW, this shows how deep Brain De Palma has fallen, not even his name appeared in the headline. Like if he never existed, only Scarface.
