I think How To Train Your Dragon was better than Toy Story 3.

The hype for TS3 is too big for any other competitor to come close this year I'm afraid

King's Speech? Never even heard of it.

so finally someone ignored the f*cking social network.what a boring movie.

I loved TSN, but I did overdo the whole class warfare/sex thing to death.

And then there's the little matter of TSN being almost entirely fiction...

Now if you want boring, go watch Men Who Stare at Goats or Ghost Writer or Michael Clayton.

But The King's Speech? Never saw that win coming (yeah right).

Just saw "The King's Speech" and it fully deserves all the praise it is getting and so does Colin Firth, "The Social Network" is a great movie but is not Oscar winning.

"Toy Story 3" is/was an overrated piece of sh*t and without the ending it had, it would be the worst of the bunch.

TKS and TSN just shows you one thing: if you want a movie to win huge popular acclaim, base your film on a character with a strong struggle against a complex foe (stammering is very difficult to overcome, especially for public speech givers, and Zuckerburg had much against him, including and most importantly himself) and then tell that story well.

In fact, both TSN and TKS featured a similar antagonist: the protagonist (his faults) himself!

By following this guideline, you'll have, at worst, a hit on your hands.

Toy Story 3 was dark fodder for either cynical children or juvenile-minded adults. And those there in between.

Inception was 10 times better then most of these p*ssy whipped films.

Why are you guys hating on Toy Story 3? The Toy Story trilogy is arguably one of the best trilogies ranking behind the Indy Series and the original Star Wars trilogy. Just because it's about toys who talk to each other doesn't mean it's mindless and juvenile. We probably won't see another animated or non-animated trilogy this good for a long time.. unless it's made by pixar.

Btw.. The Town was better than The Social Network. Just my opinion, man.
minkowski writes:

I think you're an immature queer if you like the Toy Story 'trilogy' more than the IJ, Star Wars or Back to the Future trilogies.
minkowski writes:

Sorry, but TSN is a better made film, far better than The Town and that's a demonstable fact. And that's why it's a better film.
