Danny Glover on "Lethal Weapon" Reboot

Danny Glover on "Lethal Weapon" RebootSubmit Comment
Even though Warner Bros has been developing "Lethal Weapon 5" with plans of bringing back Mel Gibson and Danny Glover as Riggs and Martaugh, it was just announced that the studio will instead reboot the franchise.

MTV now caught up with Glover at the Sundance Film Festival and the actor responded to the news by quoting his character's famous line: "I'm too old for this."

He added that he hasn't heard anything about the reboot, but hopes that fans will not quickly forget the four installments that he and Gibson starred in. "I'd like to think that the four we did were still magical and people will still reference the four 'Lethal Weapons,'" said Glover. "I like what we've done before in the past."

The internet has no grammar Rocketman. Don't feel bad. Also butts. f*ck Danny Glover. He's racist. Against...chinese people. I made that up just now, so it's true.

There is not a single movie in the world that has the same chemistry between two actors like gibson and glover had.

Why should he care ?

He probably thought they were talking about a remake of Beloved.

Or his role in Predator 2.

I just want to hear him admit he hates white people.

minkowski writes:

Dumping Gibson is good news. Will never watch anything with that dip sh*t ever again.

I still think a reboot is a horrible idea. You'd have to find a genuinely crazy young white actor, and a goofy yet sensible middle-aged black actor. You know Hollywood is just going to cast two cardboard cutouts.

Honestly, I would probably work on a reboot of Die Hard or Terminator. That can and should be done.

Reboot Die Hard or Terminator !!!!!

Are you being serious with that statement ?

you're retarded technoreaper....as for the leathal weapon reboot.....NO WAY....should be left as is or just make a 5th where they finally retire once and for all...they will never make it as good as the originals
technoreaper writes:

I'm dead serious, and it's not a stupid idea.
darkraven28 writes:

At least Glover's got some sense. This is a sequel that NO ONE wants. Let it be dead then.

Without Riggs and Murtaugh(They wouldn't dare try to reboot these characters), will it really be a reboot of Lethal Weapon. It's just gonna be some crappy cop movie about mismatched partners. YAAAY!
