Around the time "Cop Out" was being released, Kevin Smith revealed that it was difficult working with Bruce Willis, who wouldn't take direction and was constantly proposing his own ideas on how to direct the film.
After the shoot wrapped, everyone gathered for a party. Everyone, except for Willis. During the party, Smith was quoted as saying: "I want to thank everyone who worked on the film, except for Bruce Willis, who is a f*cking d*ck."
Smith has now revealed that Willis "wouldn't even sit for a f*cking poster shoot." He went on to say that the experience "was f*ckin soul crushing. A lot of people are gonna be like, 'Oh, you're just trying to blame the movie on him.' No, but I had no f*cking help from this dude whatsoever."
Included below is an interview Smith did with Opie and Anthony where he talks about working with Willis and how simple scenes were ruined by the actor. He starts at the 2:30 mark.
Now that he's spent sucking off Willis' c*ck (to get the cameo in Live Free or Die), now he doesn't like the taste that Demi had to endure for years.
Awwwww, poor tub o' lard.
I would have more sympathy for Smith if I didn't wish he would die right now of a coronary attack, followed by a massive stroke that collapse half of his face and made him look like a Macy's Day Parade balloon with the air leaking out of it.
Oh, and he talked about (on some other boring DVD) Willis giving the director of Live Free or Die Hard an excruciatingly hard time during the shooting of the scene were McLaine and Justin Long's character meets Kevin Smith's character in his mother's basement.
You saw the f*cking coming attractions, Kev.
What the f*ck did you expect, tubby ?
I guess we're gonna have to say how much Red State was a nightmare to watch also, hunh ?
hes right......if it hada bin some actor we all hate, we'd all be backing him up (hoping he doesnt fall of course)

Just saw Cop Out the other day. Absolutely TERRIBLE!!! You could tell that Willis was hating every minute he was on camera. For the life of me I can't understand why he ever took that role other than purely for money.
Kevin Smith is a complete LOSER. The guy used to be pretty talented but now he's just embarrassing (and FAT). Too bad, I really used to like his work (Jay&SB, Mallrats, Clerks).
Ralph and Liam did an okay job, but hey, that was what they had to work with. But you know what, they actually were the best parts of that. Damn, I wanna do a movie with Sam Worthington, just so I can see if the other actors around can actually take him seriously. Every time I spoke I always pictured Gemma or Mads laughing their asses off while his back was turned. I mean I would.
But no... Cop Out was alright. Other Guys was honestly better, Cop Out had it's moments. Few. But one's PG-13, ones R, so it's your pick. Literal gross out, or light hearted.
excuse my spelling of rumors i'm a little lite on weed today.

Kevin Smith should go and eat a donut, the fat f*ck. Just because he wrote the worst Superman film ever, would have made a far worse Green Hornet and made the most stupid gay cop flick ever. Kevin Smith is a gigantic living failure of a film director whom doesn't realise that nobody wants to see his hideous versions of comic book characters. Hey Kevin, so just go and wank off to that Wonder Woman comic lying around your Mcdonalds encrusted bathroom.
Another thing, Red State is the worst horror of all time.
Yeah, he never mentions his name at all. And that first part about the after party? He was joking. That's not even related to the interview.
I'm not saying he *isn't* talking about Bruce Willis, but this means absolutely nothing. I'm not sure who it could be, though. He's gone on record of saying he hated working with Linda Fiorentino and wish he'd casted someone else.
What an unprofessional douche. Willis has to protect his image. His multi-million dollar image. If you're a big movie star getting on in years do you want some fat f*ck failure of a director whose only film instinct is "put the camera on a tripod while they talk" ruining your career? Unlike the no-name Jersey potheads happy to get a mooby burger to mindlessly read lines on camera Willis is used to collaboration.
The very fact that Kevin Smith is infuriated by Willis giving his input shows what a p*ssy Smith is. A real director would either take the input or have the balls to tell Willis to f*ck off. But Kevin Smith is not a real director. He's a semi-talented amatuer screenwriter who has gotten way too much fanfare and paying jobs based on his middling talent.
And the fact that Kevin Smith is now trashing Bruce Willis just to bank some publicity for his upcoming piece of sh*t film Red State is beyond repugnant. What a heartless sc*mbag you are Smith.

That's hilarious. I guess Smith would know. But he didn't name Bruce Willis in the interview, so he could have been talking about any actor.
Don't act like Bruce Willis is some amazing actor or something. The guy only has one character he can play.

He's a nightmare to work with on every movie he's in. What makes this one different?

Correct on both posts.
But Smith is an expert and blaming anyone other than himself for anything.
This is old news, he said during the filming of the movie that it was hard working with Willis and when Epix did the 40th birthday Evening with Kevin Smith special he talked a great deal about how Willis was very difficult and would simply take over the production whenever he chose. Any direction given was not followed, he was acting as if he knew he was working with a hack (which Kevin Smith is not, he made a poor decision in this case which was directing a movie that he didnt write. Smith's power is with the pen, the camera part just happens to work out). Apparently there is one scene (I've seen the movie but could not pinpoint when Smith was talking about) where Smith asked if Willis could read the line like David Addison and for a split second, David Addison rose out of the floorboards and into the frame. As souped as Smith was, that was the only direction Willis ever took.
When Kevin Smith dies, I can piss on his tombstone .... that way I can show him how much I've enjoyed his movies.

Smith, Opie, and Anthony can suck it. Kevin Smith proved that he cannot direct anything but his own lame-o stuff. "Cop Out" is the worst film of 2010. If you're gonna suck, have a hard end battle like in "Edge of Darkness" where Mel Gibson makes Danny Huston drink nuclear milk.

"'Oh, you're just trying to blame the movie on him.' No, but I had no f*cking help from this dude whatsoever."
Therefor it sucked sweaty balls no thanks to Bruce Willis as well and perhaps would not have sucked donkey c*ck if he: "and was constantly proposing his own ideas on how to direct the film"
Bing Bing Bing! IF HE LISTENED TO WILLIS'S ADVICE THEN PERHAPS IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A DECENT FILM!
Look, Bruce like Clint Eastwood in the later part of his career is long enough in the tooth that can direct as well as act and has FAR, FAR, FAR more experience with the ins and out odf the movie business and creative process and that fat little troll Kevin Smith. Listen to your elders retard, you might LEARN something!

There goes his shot at a cameo in the next Die Hard movie
