Judd Apatow on "Knocked Up" Spin-OffPosted: January 8th, 2011 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
It was just announced that director Judd Apatow (40 Year Old Virgin) is working on a "Knocked Up" spin-off and that both Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann will reprise their roles as Pete and Debbie.
Hitfix now caught up with Apatow, who revealed that the new film won't be a sequel or a prequel. "It is neither. It is just a story from Pete and Debbie's current life," he explained. "People really responded to their characters and problems. I felt like there was a lot of ground I could explore with them, so we'll be shooting in July and will come out the following June."
No word on whether Seth Rogen or Katherine Heigl will appear in the film, but Apatow promises that he'll reveal more details in the future. "I will let them come out slowly. It's more fun that way," he said.

Judd Apatow would take it up the ass from the E! news cameraman to get press exposure.
If these two characters were gunned down during a bank robbery at the end, then I might watch it.
It would have to be brutal though.
With lots of torture.

I was going to say, hopefully its not as bad as funny people.
I think Apatow wont be able to capture the lightning of 40 year old virgin ever again.
