Mark Wahlberg on "Entourage" and "Uncharted" FilmsSubmit Comment
Mark Wahlberg is currently promoting "The Fighter" in Australia, where it will hit theaters on January 27th. Moviehole caught up with the actor and asked him about the rumored "Entourage" and "Uncharted" films.

Back in June Wahlberg revealed that he is very determined to bring the popular HBO show "Entourage" to the big screen. He now says that work on the film will begin when the series ends and that it will be part of a trilogy. "It will hopefully be the first of at least three 'Entourage' films," he said.

Regarding the adaptation of the "Uncharted" game, there have been rumors that Wahlberg is not on board to star and that Nathan Fillion may actually replace him. In addition, some have suggested that the film may never even happen. Wahlberg confirmed that the "Uncharted" movie will begin sometime mid-year, adding: "[director] David O'Russell is writing right now and hopes to direct. It's myself, Joe Pesci and Robert De Niro."

you are a horrible actor,mark,please retire or stick to Scorsese films.

@Rambo
Wahlberg didn't get "cast" in Uncharted, he must've paid good money to get this rule after the sh*tfest that was Max Payne
and in my opinion, Nathan Fillion would've been A LOT better

@Rambo

in all fairness, saw The Fighter and it was terrific and he was surprisingly good in it

Nathan Fillion was always my first choice, I was saddened when I heard Wahlberg got the part. Russell is the only redeeming part right now, but this may just turn out to be an another sh*tfest from the long line of games-to-movies.

@Freudian_Nightmare

I'm telling ya, they'll turn it to another Prince of Persia movie

but sadly without Gemma Arterton

I think Nathen Fillion would be awesome in the role

Great games, great story, great movie potential, but as everyone allready said: nathan fillion would be perfect. Mark would surely f*ck it up with his girly voice and seriously limited facial expression.

Another f*cking Hollywood rumor ?

Since f*cking when what Fillion replacing Wahlberg ?

They must've made the decision when Wahlberg was giving O'Russell a "Mulligan" from behind, while they were in bed, spooning.

f*cking rumors.

Hey Wahlberg,

Say "Hi" to your mom's p*ssy for me.

@realgirl76

Super Mario Brothers and Wing Commander were Oscar Contenders compared to Max Payne.

If they do Entourage, it will be a constant mugging to the camera by Jeremy Piven for two and a half hours. God. Get over yourself, Jeremy. You're not a young Chevy Chase.

Or even a young Burt Reynolds.

If they do Entourage, Kevin Connolly can finally feel closure after losing crackwhore Nikki Cox to Jay Mohr.

CyberpunkCentral writes:

@DexterMorgan

Have you even played the "Uncharted" video games? Marky Mark is NOTHING like Nathan Drake.
DexterMorgan writes:

@cyberpunkcentral true he is nothing like him
Schrute Farms writes:

Why dont they just use Nolan North! He already has the look and the voice of Drake and he already knows how to move like drake from all the motion capture work hes done on the game.

As a fan of the uncharted games, the more i read about it the more i dont want it to happen. The games have a great storyline as they are. You dont need to add an extra dynamic that is not going to work.

what the f*ck Entourage is still on tv? how many douche bags watch that Show?
lostwarrior writes:

Ok I will give marky mark a break for the fighter, he wasnt anything special in it,but he was not horrible like he is in most of his films, mostly though because Christian Bale saved it. I do believe bale deserves best supporting Oscar for his role. And regarding entourage, I love the show, but come the f*ck on, not only one but three movies, keep it as is. A really good hit tv show.. I mean is entourage the film in demand?
HideousSecretion writes:

Never played Uncharted but Natrhan Fillion looks way closer to the main character than Midget Mark.
AYT BALL writes:

@ BITCHHUNTER - agree with you about The Fighter, thought everyone was very good in that movie.

Not sure he can pull of Uncharted tho, Nathan would have been ideal.
batdump writes:

I dont think Mark could pull of the c*cky sarcastic charm that nathan drake is famous for. he can be c*cky and sarcastic, but I dont know if he could do it with charm.

The 6th season of Entourage sucked so bad. Bring back the Hollywood aspect & keep those damn relationship plot points out of this show. It DOSN'T NEED IT
