Bill Moseley is Charles Manson in "Manson Girls"

Bill Moseley is Charles Manson in "Manson Girls"Submit Comment
Back in March of 2008, Entertainment Tonight reported that Lindsay Lohan signed on to play Nancy Pitman, one of Charles Manson's devoted followers in "Manson Girls." It is the lead role, but Lohan is no longer attached.

Bloody-Disgusting is now reporting that Bill Moseley (The Devil's Rejects) has been cast as Charles Manson in the film. He'll be joined by Eric Balfour (Skyline), Tania Raymonde ("Lost"), Brit Morgan ("True Blood"), and Estella Warren (Planet of the Apes).

The new movie follows Nancy Pitman, a young girl from a wealthy Malibu family who fell under Manson's spell. She was not one of the "Family" members involved in the clan's infamous murder spree, but Pitman was later imprisoned after she became involved with the Aryan Brotherhood and was convicted of being an accessory (after the fact) to murder.

"Manson Girls" will begin filming in March in Los Angeles.

Is that Manson in the photo, or the dude playing him?

So now they are miling the Manson murder from the perspective of an attendee ?

Sorry, as much as I love hearing about Kooky Charlie and all, I'm not interested. I am happy for Bill that he's continuing to get work (going from an iconic character as Choptop in the Massacre films to Otis T Firefly in the Zombie flicks is definitely a step up in B movies in genre of horror), but now he looks more like post arrest, now in prison Charlie (and probably circa late 70s), not mass murdering, Helter Skeltering, Sharon Tatering young Charlie.

I see this one not making it very long in the theater or going straight to DVD, if that.

@trailertrash

Thanks, Sparky :)

Yeah, I remember. House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects.

Sorry, it was 2 in the morning and I was hopped up on Red Bull, peyote and amyl nitrate.

True Story : When Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Devil's Rejects came out around the same time, I went to watch them back to back.

First Charlie, then The Devil's Rejects.

*snort*

Interesting afternoon.

Let me guess

Manson will get %10 of the proceeds and a pardon

Who cares about this guy he should have gotten the chair years ago

@Crazy - no argument here.

Strange thing (about the law). Manson wasn't (if memory serves) at the crime scene. Yet he's locked up as if he was. Yet considering the crime, he wasn't put down like the sick f*ck he is. What should REALLY piss taxpayers off is the $'s that could fix the potholes that ruin their cars is used to feed and house this sick f*ck.

Hey Ranger the REAL pisser is that we are such namby pambies that it costs more in legal BS through appeals and sh*t that it costs an enormous amount to actually get to the execution point. I know we dont want to hurt the wrong people , but its really at the expense of hurting everyone, through cost, and the appearance of inefficacy of the system.

What do you UK brothers out there think? Don't you operate on the single appeal basis?
