Samuel L. Jackson and Luke Wilson in "Meeting Evil" ThrillerSubmit Comment
Scene Magazine has learned that Samuel L Jackson, Luke Wilson and Leslie Bibb have been cast in "Meeting Evil," a thriller adapted from Thomas Berger's 1992 novel.

Plot: John Felton (Wilson) meets evil late one Monday morning when the doorbell rings. Standing on the front porch is a stranger (Jackson). He wears expensive running shoes and a baseball cap and calls himself Richie. He tells John his car has stalled and asks for help. An altercation at the gas station leads to a shocking crime as violence begets violence. At the end of this harrowing day, John returns home to find Richie ensconced in his living room, chatting up his wife (Bibb). The evil has somehow seeped into his life. Thus begins the transformation of an unremarkable husband and father of two into a desperate man willing to go to any length to protect his family from the darkness that threatens them.

Directed by Chris Fisher (S. Darko, Dirty), "Meeting Evil" is set to begin shooting on January 8th in New Orleans. The script's tone is described as moody with elements of dark comedy.

Luke looks like he's been eating more than just d*ck lately ..

This film tells me that a black guy on my doorstep is the heralding of violence and evil. And he's even dressed for basketball!

So I call racism on this film.

"Luke looks like he's been eating more than just d*ck lately .."

Yeah, he's been eating the missing pieces of his brother's nose.

^^Perry is still looking for a black guy with less self-worth than him.

" Oh, so now you're sayin' that a BLACK man, wearing nice threads and having a polite conversation with your wife is EVIL ????? Is that what you're f*cking saying motherf*cker ???? "

~ a line Samuel L Jackson is bound to say, somewhere in this script.

Thomas Berger sure as sh*t didn't based this story in Jasper, Texas.

John would've beaten Richie to the point of death with a tireiron, tied a rope to his leg and drug him down the asphalt, going 60 miles an hour in his beaten up Ford F 1-50.

@Queen

You have a better chance of Ice Cube remaking Uptown Saturday Night, with Sidney Poitier doing a cameo, yelling at the hoodlums, " They call me MISTER TIBBS, N!gga! " and Bill Cosby commenting on the saggy pants during his cameo.
