Jeremy Renner to Appear as Hawkeye in "Thor"Submit Comment
Before Jeremy Renner (The Hurt Locker) was officially cast as Hawkeye in "The Avengers," he assumed that the character would first appear in "Thor," which is set to hit theaters on May 6th, a full year before "The Avengers."

A person who has seen an early cut of "Thor" has now confirmed to The Wrap that Renner does indeed show up in "Thor," adding that Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) does not.

Many believe that Hawkeye would appear at the end of the film, similar to how Nick Fury was introduced in "Iron Man." But at this point, it's still unclear how Hawkeye will be used. Stay tuned.

Considering the SHIELD presence in Thor, it'd make sense. He'll probably appear in one of the scenes with Agent Coulson. Interested to see the movie version of Hawkeye

Yeah I'm curious to see him too. He obviously won't be wearing that ridiculous purple/pink skirt and mask. Hopefully they do him Ultimate style with the cybernetic sunglasses and eyeballs.

@badchad
You like getting head while watching a body building long blonde hair type has his shirt off and is going around beating the sh*t out of people? Looks like your avatar is a little off.

This can only make Thor better, as long as he has a decent part, not just a 5 second walk-through.

The man was nominated for an Oscar in "The Hurt Locker". Guarantee he'll knock it out of the park.

im looking forward to thor! have been sense i heard about it! then the trailer for it was awesome!

but with the exception of spidey (and no judgment for avengers, cap, or the xmen prequel yet) thats really all im looking forward to as far as marvel goes anymore.

i would however watch; deadpool, moon knight, black panther, iron fist, daredevil, or the punisher if they made or remade any of those.

the wolverine sequel could be good too i guess but again no judgment.

ps. does anyone think Namor will show up in either captain america or avengers??? correct me if im wrong but in the original series i thought he appeared in the first issue of the avengers. if not i know he present throughout the series and in cap series also.
