Elijah Wood and Paul Reubens in "Tron" TV Series

Elijah Wood and Paul Reubens in "Tron" TV SeriesSubmit Comment
"Tron: Legacy" writers Adam Horowitz and Eddie Kitsis told Box Office Magazine that the Disney film will continue in the form of an animated TV series that will take place between the events of "Tron" and "Tron: Legacy."

"There's a 10-part micro series that will premiere next summer that Eddie and I wrote," said Horowitz. "And we've also worked on a couple of episodes with the series itself. We've hired an incredible team; we've got a guy running the show named Charlie Bean who is an amazing director."

Kitsis added: "This animated show will take place from when Flynn is in a safe house. It's from when Clu takes over the grid to before when Sam comes in. So if you were wondering what was the grid like before that, then watch the show."

The new show will include such voice actors as Elijah Wood, Linda Moore, Paul Reubens, Lance Henriksen and Bruce Boxleitner. "We've got a really cool group of actors," said Horowitz. "We hesitate to tell too much just yet, but it will fill in the blanks of some things, and also explore some new areas as well."

Awesome! Also a little information about the ISO's be nice. For anyone who hasn't seen this movie you should get a theater as soon as possible. It rocked on a visual level and on a story level if you studied it enough!

Oh great very typical in hollywood after there's success in a movie producers seem to find a way to milk it.

At least lance herisken is getting a job

tron legacy wasnt exactly the movie thought itd be but it was still a really good movie. id give it probably a 7 outa 10.

i love how critics also seem to smash on a film when theres too much action claiming it doesnt have a story because theyre too dumb to look fpr the story arc inside the film. thinking aint their game exactly.

this is a cool idea because theres a tron chronology out there onthe web made by disney so if they go by that theres a lot happening in both worlds. you have the clue takeover in the gameworld and several things in the realworld including the death of sams grandparents, sams life, a group of believers who are sure that kevin flynn is still alive and were a huge part of the chronology that werent mentioned in legacy and its been way too long senae ive seen the original to remember. also theres everything with Encom, dillingers son, etc. theres a ton of story there to turn into a series!

2mins late from where i live but merry xmas to everyone here too btw!!! chatting/argueing with you all never gets old!

"It rocked on a visual level and on a story level if you studied it enough"

Apartently you love sh*t action and poor quality films as well. Consider that maybe it's getting bad reviews b/c it wasn't good...like at all. And believe me the problem wasn't the action because all the action scenes were f*cking stupid. When walked out of the theatre all I could say was what the f*ck was that.

Chill out man, quit yer bitchin'.

Eh... I sense Cartoon Network or some sh*t. Which would really blow cause that Star Wars series sucks somethin' awful.

Paul Reubens voicing a character on a series marketed for kids ? What ... was Jeffrey Jones busy that day ?

Hey Elijah,

When Paul gets in that voice booth with you,
make sure he's wearing a condom.
