Now that 2010 is coming to an end, PopEater released a list of forty most popular headlines that readers have been searching for. You will likely recognize each of the stories, but out of all the celebrity news that has accumulated this year, it's a bit shocking that Gary Coleman's death took first place.

Coming in second is the story of Lindsay Lohan going to jail. The rest includes Oprah denying being gay, Brittany Murphy and her husband dying of the same condition only five months apart, Katy Perry on "Sesame Street," and Pat Sajak apologizing for Keith Olbermann.

Click here to see the full list.

Last year, the death of Natasha Richardson took first place, behind the deaths of Michael Jackson, Billy Mays and David Carradine.

for me the biggest headline of 2010 was the death of Leslie Nielsen-the master of spoof movies.

Gary Coleman's Death is the most popular headline of 2010 ?

That's rather bittersweet.

He had an insufferable life, from a career point of view. And when he got married to that ******, well, it's kinda
sad and pathetic that he made the pinnacle of a career by dying. But isn't that the point to all of
celebrity, Hollywood and the press junket/mill in general ? That they say you're hot when they need you,
then they use you and then leave you to rot in your own muck and filth right afterwards.

They are the circus ringleaders driving the carnies to perform acts for the folks, even when the
carnies are sick, disfigured and diseased.

People are a pushing, abusive species and the Hollywood version is even more so.

Euthenasia is too good for those f*cks.

Someone needs to tell Robert Deniro to take that tire iron out of his ass and beat his agent to death with it

( Regarding : Little F(U)ckers )

I thought the most popular headline of 2010 was Mel Gibson's cuddling, post coital pillow talk on the Boost Mobil, following the sexual fist punch ...

joking.

Guess even an Anti-Semite, mysogenist can't beat the bereavement of a worn down, tethered mandigo dwarf, forced to do security (from who ? Warwick Davis and his cohorts ?), like some Shaka Zulu Time Bandit left behind ... and married to some whorish, imbred, red-headed ginger that makes Shelly Duvall look voluptuous and has as crazy as Margot Kidder hiding in a bush ... and just flat out died from her Courtney Love intentions.

f*ck.

@bandolero999 - thx. my friend... very kind.

Shannon Price (ie: murderous bitch!) should have been bumped off should have been the #1 story. Oh well... we can only hope for that in the new year.

Good posts everyone.

@Rambo - agreed... Leslie's death set me back a couple of days. It's a shame when the really great ones go.

Oprah a canoe cleaner or not? Who give a rat's ass?!

f*ck the rest of them.

I'm talking especially to you, DUSTIN DIAMOND.

@Ranger

We can always hope that someone will plan out her demise.

I imagine a rope and a truck and alot of rough land to off road, at full speed.

Give her the Jasper, Texas makeover.

"Give her the Jasper, Texas makeover."

Any plastic surgery, even the asphalt variety, would only improve her looks.
