Ian McKellen Confirmed for "The Hobbit"Posted: November 27th, 2010 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
While "The Hobbit" was facing union strikes, the lose of a director and endless delays, Ian McKellen kept saying that he will not return for the films if they take too long to head into production.
Even after Peter Jackson took charge and got the films greenlit, there was still uncertainty regarding McKellen reprising his role as Gandalf. But now comes news directly from McKellen that he's officially on board. Here is what he wrote in the section for his 2010 films:
"THE HOBBIT's, two films, start shooting in New Zealand in February 2011. Filming will take over a year. Casting in Los Angeles, New York City and London has started. The script too proceeds. The first draft is crammed with old and new friends, again on a quest in Middle Earth."

Wonder if they'll make him wear that bum getup he had on, outside the theater and getting change from strangers ( while he was taking a smoke break, during his role in Waiting for Godot).

They should put Val Kilmer in a body motion suit and make him the post banquet Gollum ... his character will look like a small, fat, naked, dwarfish version of Marlon Brando from The Island of Dr. Moreau ...
or Mustache Rider's honeymoon photos.

Nice to see you've stopped starring in BumFights, Ian.
Now do us a favor and lick out the cobwebs from Dame Helen's dried up p*ssy, so Russell can go rugmunching there.

Like they were ever going to make this movie without him.
Methinks this was the reason for all the delays. He's obviously the most pivotal character in the entire franchise.

I'll translate this to mean that they gave him an even bigger bag of money for making him wait for so damn long.

Great, he finally signed onto a film that we will never see as it comes out after the end of the world.
Might as well of said " The film will also have full frontal nudity of Scarlett Johann son, Jessica Alba, Emma Stone, Jennifer Aniston, Blake Lively, Kate Beckinsale..........
