"Zombieland 2" Planning Another Iconic Cameo

"Zombieland 2" Planning Another Iconic CameoSubmit Comment
Bill Murray's cameo was definitely the highlight of "Zombieland," which is why the filmmakers behind the movie are now planning another "superstar cameo" for the sequel. The search will include someone iconic along the lines of Harrison Ford or Anthony Hopkins.

Bloody-Disgusting has also learned that the script includes a lead villain with comedic roots and will bring back Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) who will go head-to-head with a "hunky rival."

At this point, the only actor officially on board is Jesse Eisenberg, but lots of casting news is expected soon. Stay tuned.

I really think the only way they can top the Bill Murray cameo is if Bruce Campbell was the cameo this time around. Any one agree? Of course you do.

Hey Derp!!

He would have to be dressed as Ash from Evil Dead of course.

Harrison Ford seems like a smart move. Anthony Hopkins is already scary. Everyone will just think back to Hannibal and then the movie loses steam of it's own originality. Still, either one would be unique in this situation, but who could resist Harrison Ford as a zombie or a badass survivor fighting for his life! He'd save Woody Harrelson by killing a zombie, Harrelson would look at him in shock and awe and Ford be like "Now tell me I couldn't of handled another Indiana Jones mother&%^$&#!" LOL

How about Gary Coleman?

Oh right... his BITCH WIFE MURDERED HIM!!!!!

Think the best person to cameo would be George Romero. He has done so much zombie films, let's see how he feels when it actually happens in real life(in the movie of course)

Randy Quaid... then they could've had a Kingpin reunion.

I don't know that Bill Murray was the highlight of Zombieland.. Zombieland was pretty - wait hold on... zombieland.. ZOMBIE-LAND...zoooom-okay - was pretty good all around.

MEL GIBSON OR NICK NOLTE would of said Dennis Hopper but he's no longer with us

Thought they weren't gonna try to do that again? Emma Stone better be back in it, or this will be watched on dvd only.
Emmitt writes:

Zombie Hopkins screaming “BRAINZZZ!!!”? Doesn't sound bad.
But still, wasn't there, like a month ago, an article about Zombieland 2 not having any cameos because they just can't f*cking top Bill Murray? Stick to that, people.
Murray was unexpected, that's why it worked so well.

@Derp - YES YES YES YES YES

either Bruce or Mel, they're the ONLY options. I really hope Mel does get offered a spot in this film, he can shove it up Zack Gaf*ckhead's ass... and then abuse him some more.

Mel Gibson,grow the balls now.
triggax writes:

Im definitely good with Michael Keaton..

Bruce Campbell would steal too much flair from the film... He just wouldn't fit.. It has to be someone you wouldn't expect amongst all the zombies.

Conan O Brien would be f*ckin sweet to see as well...

now that we know it's not going to be much of a surprise like the first one...

I think Jeff bridges would be great. Have him be laid back sort of like lebowski kind of. That would be rad.

hehe that's pretty wrong...or is it?

Generally, I don't think the anyone is going to be too impressed with Bruce Campbell or George Romero. They need someone with more mass appeal.

How about Bruce Willis? Total badass and can be pretty funny. Imagine them running into Willis acting very John McClane.

I'll be mad if they bring in a junior newbie hollywood "actor" such as justin bieber or zac effron, they better not screw this up
SeWerin writes:

Bruce Campbell or Gary Busey!

Harrison's zombie will just be grumpy all the time .... and lately, with his age and curmudgeon attitude, who could tell ?

I say they oughta get Shatner. We would pay to see Harrelson lay waste to the zombie William Shatner.

Hey, for the Shat, it's a paycheck.

Betty White. Her broke down old ass has been pretty popular lately.
