Christopher Nolan Answers "Inception" Questions, Plus Unused PosterSubmit Comment
"Inception" is set to hit stores on DVD and Blu-ray on December 7th, but today we have an unused alternate poster for the movie and an interview with director Christopher Nolan in which he answers some of the most-asked questions. Check out the poster below and you may want to avoid the Q(and)A if you have yet to see "Inception."

Question: Is the movie about film-making? Cobb is the director, Ariadne is the writer, Eames is the art director, Saito is the producer and Fischer is the audience.
Answer: I didn't intend to make a film about film-making, but I gravitated toward the creative process that I know.

Question: Are Cobb's kids at the end still part of the dream?
Answer: The kids are not wearing the same clothes at the end. And they do age. We were working with two sets of kids.

Question: Does the top keep spinning at the end of the movie?
Answer: The important thing is that Cobb is not looking at the top. He doesn't care.

Question: Do you use ambiguity as a storytelling tool to make sure the film has more than one answer?
Answer: Oh no, I've got an answer.

Nolan, comapred to many of his contemporaries, is a clever bastard for sure, but that alternate poster sucks.

That is all.

Should of been Q&Q

Is the movie about film-making?
I'm not sure, what do you think its about?

Are Cobb's kids at the end still part of the dream?

I'm not sure, do you think they are?

Does the top keep spinning at the end of the movie?
Is the top really there?

Do you use ambiguity as a storytelling tool to make sure the film has more than one answer?

I don't know...Do I?

big_daddy: lol.

"Impressive poster, but something is missing."

Yeah, substance.

@mink. Lol. I'd love to see a poster full of substance. Like for a "Six Sense" it would have a tigeline "Yes, a Bruce Willis is dead, for a whole time"

'Answer: The important thing is that Cobb is not looking at the top. He doesn't care.'

Exactley, I kind of think the ending is a bit irrelvent because he gets home, he gets to see his children again and he dosen't care if he is dreaming or not, he is were he wants to be. The only reason why he would spin the top is because he is just checking to see if he was dreaming but as soon as he sees his children he so stunned he doesn't care any one.

Cool poster as well.
