Dwayne Johnson Interested in "The Expendables 2"

Dwayne Johnson Interested in "The Expendables 2"Submit Comment
Back in August, Sylvester Stallone said that he would love to get Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Vin Diesel to join the team of tough guys in the upcoming "Expendables" sequel.

Virgin Media caught up with Johnson and asked if he would consider appearing the second installment. "It all depends on the material," he said. "I've known Sly for a long time now and he's a buddy of mine so it all depends on the material."

Stallone has previously stated that he would want Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger to have bigger roles in "The Expendables 2" and would like to make Jean-Claude Van Damme a villain. The actor/director is also rumored to be in talks with Mr. T, Hulk Hogan and Carl Weathers.

The Rock is a cookie head, he will never get out of being in kiddy films.

He should be kissing Sly's arse to be in "The Expendables 2"!

What a f*cking douche!!!

could be good, but whether he's in it or not, i'll use his quote, 'it all depends on the material'

I've been wondering lately, since vin diesel is clearly gay, I wonder if he may in fact be Vin/dandy

Who is the Rocks agent?? Probably the same agency that looks after Nicholas Cage and Robert Deniro

Uhhh NO. Turm around, and go back to the Disney Hall of Shame with Eddie Murphy.

How about they get cameos from Burt Reynolds. Clint Eastwood and Gene Hackman? That'd be hilarious, I think. :D

Wait? What kind of statement is that? If he's a "buddy" of yours that you've known for a long time, why would the material matter?
trailertrash writes:

All depends on the material !! Really...

Tooth Fairy
Be Cool
Planet 51
Journey 2: The Mysterious Island

Ok Dwayne , Expendables 2 will just fine with out you !!

wrestlemania rematch The Rock vs Stone Cold Steve Austin (now charred and crispy)!! they better throw in some stunners and rock bottoms otherwise its not worth having the two in the same movie.
rabid writes:

Screw it. You could spend the Rock's budgeted pay to spring for three or four more washup cast members and save money.
Dre-EL writes:

Now that everyone wants to get on board Ex2 is goona be more expensive and likely not make back its money.
beepboop writes:

Statham said: If Stallone asked me to mow his lawn, I'd do it.
The Rock said: Depends on the material.

Go away the Rock, just go away...

Sly is a buddy of your's eh, Rock... yet your 'buddy' didn't ask you to be in the #1 Action Movie of the decade?

f*ck off, and shovel your sh*t elsewhere!

What a SLAP in the face Sly didn't put him in the first one. I know with all the other 'actors' in it, there was no room for 'The Rock!' Still, Sly put in others with little or no acting experience even before considering Dwayne. Yep... Arnie passed the torch onto Dwayne and he dropped it.

Cinemaisdead posted here my previous thoughts... Dwayne, YOUR AGENT SUCKS!!! LOL (laughing AT you Dwayne, not with you)!!!
Ranger writes:

@beepboop - exactly why Jason is where he is today and why Dwayne is where he is.

Dwayne = the next JCVD.
Max Rockatansky Junior writes:

As part of his contract, he should be obligated to be dressed up in that Tooth Fairy garb and ballet dancer's tights.
minkowski writes:
on November 19th, 2010 at 3:01:46 PM

Jason Statham is a stand up guy. The Rock is nothing but a f*cking loser faggot. f*ck him. He should suck Stallone's d*ck if he just thinks the thought. Who the f*ck does this moron think he is? Arnie? Him and his lame good-for-nothing sh*t films. Take the Tooth Fairy and f*ck yourself. That and that gay film where he plays an *sshole athlete with his little girl.

"I've been wondering lately, since vin diesel is clearly gay, I wonder if he may in fact be Vin/dandy"

LMAO!
minkowski writes:
on November 19th, 2010 at 3:04:57 PM

Arnie, Willis, Stallone, Statham and a few others = action star gods.

Statham's best is probably yet to come.

The Rock? A narcissistic, self-indulgent whore for Disney and other companies looking to peddle faggoty films for kids and panty-wearing forty year-old men.

Just f*cking die already. We hate you.
minkowski writes:
on November 19th, 2010 at 3:41:01 PM

Besides, Expendables is for classic action stars, and nothing about Dwayne is either classic or action, and he certainly is NOT a star, so why in the world would anyone want him in the sequel where he CLEARLY does not belong?
trailertrash writes:
on November 19th, 2010 at 3:47:47 PM

He sure doesn't ...

I'm sure Journey 2 is really good choice for Dwayne, My 4 year old is looking forward to it.

But he will be 5 when it comes so he may think it's a pile of crap by then.
minkowski writes:
on November 19th, 2010 at 3:54:25 PM

Your kid is likely already far too intelligent for one of The Rock's 'films'. Your son will probably point out plot holes before the intro credits.
minkowski writes:
on November 19th, 2010 at 3:56:11 PM

It just pisses me off to no end, knowing that Dwayne is such a pretentious twat by putting himself in the same league as legends like Stallone. WTF is the man thinking?
trailertrash writes:
on November 19th, 2010 at 4:01:37 PM

I know what you mean !!

It depends on the Material, f*ck you Dwayne The man is going too ask you to be in Expendables 2.

You say YES and Thank You and when do i start.

You haven't even earn't the right to think about it...
minkowski writes:
on November 19th, 2010 at 4:09:13 PM

^^^Exactly!

And like I said, he's a pretentious twat.

Expendables 2 would do wonders for the man as an action actor, and he needs some wonders and miracles in that department, for sure, unless he's content doing Disney garbage for the rest of his (hopefully brief) life.

You simply don't piss on Stallone.

Tom Berenger
Rolf Muller
Brian Thompson
Marc Singer
Fred Ward
Jan-Michael Vincent

Kind of a Ty Pennington look goin' on there:

@Ranger, he was the dude in the 70's and 80's but after a massive car accident hardly did any thing again. Plus he would probably take the part for a bottle of Rum and a bed with clean sheets, lol
Ranger writes:
on November 20th, 2010 at 3:14:27 AM

Yep. He was the sh*t Airwolf days fo sho!

If the accident you're referring to was he chasing his girlfriend, then rear-ending her (and not in the good way)... yeah, that was pretty serious. He was loaded then too.

He's a hermite these days living on a ranch/farm mid-U.S. last I heard.

I wish him luck.
