Eli Roth recently produced "The Last Exorcism," which became a financially successful film after it grossed $60 million on a budget that's under $2 million. Now, Roth is looking to find other horror movies to produce, starting with "Clown."
"Clown" recently appeared online as a fake trailer (watch below) put together by director Jon Watts and writer Christopher Ford. To make their video look more legit, they added logos of Lionsgate, Screen Gems and even mentioned that it's produced by Roth, which it wasn't.
"I was blown away when I saw that 'Clown' trailer," said Roth. "Everyone thought it was real, or that I had at least made a fake trailer. I called the guys right away and their first response was 'Thank you for not suing us!' I said 'Sue you? Let's make this into a real film!' They are incredibly talented, smart guys ready to make their feature debut."
Eli Roths a crazy mother f*cker, usually cant stand him but this gave him a few brownie points. He's now on 2 brownie points.

for a fake trailer, it didn't look too bad. kind of a funny concept for a sales pitch though. "Here's the trailer for this movie we wanna make!" "wait, why didn't you make it while you filmed everything for the trailer?"
I'm sure most of the guys on here will lend a c*ck if you ever went a head with that great idea of yours, Keep us updated..

Eli Roth, the man who raped the horror franchise and turned gore into his whore. He f*cking sucks. He can't do scary, so he has to resort to a multi-layer patina of blood and guts to get a rise out of the audience.
