Brad Pitt to Make Chilean Miners Film

Brad Pitt to Make Chilean Miners FilmSubmit Comment
As soon as the thirty three Chilean miners were rescued, rumors began circulating that studios and production companies were in talks to turn the story into a feature film.

A lawyer for the miners told El Mercurio newspaper that the men first want to create a holding company that would manage any proceeds from their experience in order to make sure that all thirty three miners get the same amount of money.

He added that Brad Pitt's Plan B production company is in talks to acquire the film rights and that several of the rescued miners might even be asked to appear in the new movie.

We had to deal with all this sh*t in real life, do we really need it in a movie as well?

Just like the Descent.
Except no one dies, and is generally not as exciting.

In this one all the miners die at the end after finding out 'the curious case of Benjamin button' is the only movie left down there.

The Chilean miners are at the heights of popularity now, but I've been into them since they were underground.

SPOILER *TWIST* ENDING

Sure, they live, but they suddenly form a band, make records, age, turn into the Rolling Stones and then the one that is the Chilean Keith Richards writes a tell-all book of how the Chilean Mick Jagger is a piece of sh*t and how he wanted to thwack a pick in the guy's skull and stick him in a secret part of the mine .... where, if he did, that guy would come back to take his venegeance, ala My Bloody Valentine 3-D.
Max Rockatansky Junior writes:

Maybe he can save money and use that CGI system Tim Burton did and use Danny Trejo to play all the guys.
