I can not think of another series with a imagery so stunningly beautiful and a "story" so thoroughly repugnant.

Such a shame.

damn... so they took a fairly exciting book for kids which is considered a literary masterpiece, that was about adventure with deeper tones about growing up, changing, and responsibilty (cheesy i know)..
AND THEY THREW THAT BOOK AWAY!
kept the basic forms of the characters and replaced the plot with a video game scenario....
seriously?
BRING THE MAGICAL BLUE GLOWING SWORD (sting?) and put it at aslan's table so it's true power can be released...
wow
they should have just called it zelda!

How is it that they keep making these movies? I thought the first of the series didn't make much money for the studio and yet we are at movie number 3?

is it true the lion masturbates in front of Lucy in this one?

the first narnia grossed over 700 million.
it was a global smash hit. it was the second highest grossing film of 2005 trailing behind starwars 3 revenge of the sith.
Prince caspian, on the other hand, cost like over 200 million to make and only made 400 million worldwide... so it made 40% less than the first. Disney backed out and now fox and walden are trying hard to get people excited about it again.

They f*cked up the entire story for sure, and now that FOX has produced the last and likely ill-fated film, consider this franchise deader than Gary Coleman's acting career.

@vaodsi I can't remember what happened in The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader book (or the Prince Caspian book for that matter) but The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe was very close to the book, so what in this trailer looks wrong? (Try not to be too spoiler-y if possible.)
