The film stars Jamie Bell as Tintin, the intrepid young reporter whose relentless pursuit of a good story thrusts him into a world of high adventure. Andy Serkis is Captain Haddock, Daniel Craig is the nefarious Red Rackham, and Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are Thompson and Thompson.

Looks better than the previous pics, but I still would've prefered a live-action Tintin.

Nobody's going to see a Tintin movie in the USA. They're wasting a lot of time and effort and mostly money.

This might go the way of The Polar Express and Beowulf. I'm not saying it won't draw in asses to seats, but I am seeing it going that way.

TinTin is going to hurt his little girly wrist if he fires that gun holding it that way.
Clearly it's a defensive posture as he no longer wishes to be raped by his newspaper wielding father.

Tintin or Asterix are huge here in Spain, but I guess these characters are better known here in Europe than in Yankiland.

Ah yes, Amsterdam. For the price of one American whore, you can get three there. Gotta love the Dutch and their contribution to prostitution and drug abuse.
And no, no one gives a flying two-legged camel-kick for Tin Tin in the US.

Tin-Tin Comics: Awesome
Tin-Tin HBO Animated Series: Also Awesome
Tin-Tin Mo-Cap Feature Film: Epic Steaming Turd Fail
Aside from Avatar, I have yet to see Mo-Cap used effectively/appealingly. Polar Express/Christmas Carol/Beowulf/Monster House all awful, ugly, stiff, and awkward. I can stay home and watch vids of my honeymoon if I want to see ugly, stiff and awkward.

This is a waste of time, and resources. No one f*cking cares about Tin Tin. This will be less succesful than Astro Boy.
