Taylor Lautner's "Abduction" Photo and Plot RevealedPosted: November 6th, 2010 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
Today we have the first photo from the upcoming "Abduction" action thriller, starring Taylor Lautner (Twilight), Lily Collins (The Blind Side), Alfred Molina, Sigourney Weaver, Maria Bello and Jason Isaacs. Check out the photo below.
Plot: What would you do if you found your own picture on a missing persons website? Teen Nathan Harper (Lautner) finds himself facing this very dilemma. Setting out to uncover his real identity, Nathan quickly learns his parents are far from who they say they are. When the police, government agents and shadowy figures start to pursue him, Nathan’s quest for the truth erupts into a full-blown "Bourne"-like man-on-the-run thriller.
The new movie is directed by John Singleton (Four Brothers, Boyz n the Hood) and is tentatively set to hit theaters next year.

An alteration on Running on Empty ?
The Popes are a family who haven't been able to use their real identity for years. In the late sixties, the parents set a weapons lab afire in an effort to hinder the government's Vietnam war campaign. Ever since then, the Popes have been on the run with the authorities never far behind. Today, their eldest son wants a life of his own although he is aware that would mean that his parents would either get caught or he will never see them again.

Another Bourne like movie. Can't they think of something else?

@boogiel: "Bourne" is just a buzz word now. They only say it so that people that liked the Bourne movies (like me) will go "WOW! I gotta see this!". But instead I see a story with good potential thats ruined the minute I see the name "Taylor Lautner".
