THR is reporting that Warner Bros has acquired a pitch by Kevin and Dan Hageman (Hotel Transylvania), who came up with an idea to make a live-action/CG feature film around the fictional ACME warehouse.
ACME is a company that manufactures products that Looney Tunes characters use in their adventures. All the gadgets that Wile E. Coyote acquires to catch the Road Runner are from ACME. Unfortunately, they never work as expected.
The idea is to feature the many outlandish devices in a movie that's similar in tone to "Men in Black" movies. Despite this being a Looney Tunes movie, it will not use any of the Looney Tunes characters.

'Unfortunately, they never work as expected.' --- if memory serves, ALL the ACME stuff worked perfectly. The rockets fired, the anvils fell, etc. It was just the bad timing of the coyote or the speed of the roadrunner that foiled the results.

Yep, definitely user error.
This film might as well be a mockumentary of the life of a manufacturing plant employee at Staples. Except instead of staplers, the forklift operators are being propelled by rockets and sh*t.
Also, Hotel Transylvania? wtf is that? A step up from a LaQuinta Inn?
