Mark Wahlberg in Talks for Seth MacFarlane's Hard-R "Teddy Bear" Movie

Mark Wahlberg in Talks for Seth MacFarlaneSubmit Comment
Back in April, we reported that Universal Pictures acquired a $65 million R-rated comedy called "Teddy Bear," which will be the directorial debut of "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane, who also wrote the script.

The movie is about a 33-year-old man whose Teddy Bear comes to life and poses problems for him as an adult when it gets in the way of a relationship with his girlfriend. The bear is described as someone who likes to party, pick up women, smoke pot and play video games.

Now, Pajiba is reporting that Mark Wahlberg is in negotiations to star in the film, which is a mix of live-action and CG. MacFarlane will co-star and provide the voice for the CG-generated title character. Meanwhile, there are other roles for a racist homosexual, a woman obsessed with talking about men shaving their *ssholes, and a "Jewish-looking" person who makes anti-Semitic remarks.

Glad macfarlene is doing a different type of movie rather than a Family Guy movie cuz tv to big screen movies tend to fail a lot for obvious reasons.

@Trailer: Me neither, but since I haven't seen any proof that he's not a racist I just made an educated guess.

So Mark Wahlberg is going to play Will Ferrell's role in this movie ? f*ck, who know Marky Mark had range. He's like Channing Tatum, if Channing actually rapped like Vanilla Ice back when he posed for high-end Fruit of the Looms. Then Channing decided to try acting, only he had the same dull, knife grating octave to his voice like his younger brother, Donnie Tatum. Then, he decides to pick scripts for movies that ... f*cking suck, like " The (What's) Happening, Rog ? " and " Max Payne (in The Ass To Watch) " ... and all the while, he bitches and moans about having to meet "regular people" while on vacation, because obviously his ego is so fragile, heaven forbid someone actually say "Hi." to the DouchNozzle without him throwing a f*cking tempertantrum and then, then he recants his rhyming and rapping years, saying how he couldn't stand to hear it ... to the dismay of some fat, single, lonely slob of a woman in South Dakota that idolizes him and has old posters of his (in his JVDs) that she saved from her years as a teen, all the while living a meneal existence working at her waitress job at the Waffle House, trying to figure out how to pay her bills and survive and listed to her Marky Mark CDs on her portable CD/Cassette tape boombox player she bought at Wal-Mart with the money she could've saved to buy an abortion with, so she wouldn't be stuck with her three boys and a girl, all named " Mark " after him ....

f*ck Mark Wahlberg.

Hey Mark,

Say hi to your mom for me. She was a lousy f*ck.

This sounds pretty funny. The premise alone is really original. Hope McFarlane really turns up the R content on this one, and Wahlberg is actually a great comedy actor. With the Happening being accidentally hilarious and the Other Guys being purposefully hilarious I could see him doing a good job here.

I think ppl are a little too optimistic about this. it sounds like a sh*tty Mcfarlanized unhappily ever after movie. I liked that show, but Mcfarlane is waaaayyy over rated and hasnt written anything good since family guy season 3. American Dad? Cleveland Show? terrible. and dont get me started on how smug and funny he THINKS he is. add that to the smugness of whalberg and u have a smug cloud that could choke a donkey. f*ck this movie
